I stayed at Mountain View Hotel with my mom and sister for 2 nights, 3 days, and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was perfect, in the heart of Sapa but not in the middle of all the craziness, so you could actually relax and connect to the beautiful mountains the surround the town 💚 the hotel’s name does it justice as our room had incredible mountain views were I could practice Yoga in the mornings :) also the staff was so friendly and helpful! And the food was great, definitely recommend if you go to Sapa!

Perfect place to stay in Sapa!

Great little hotel short walk out of the main square, close to plenty of activities and dinning, clean rooms, great views, breakfast was absolutely lovely friendly service from all staff, great location easy to get into town. 

Honeymoon 

The review is for the trekking tour run by Mrs. Moon, We had this 1 day 15 KM  trip on December 15 that started from the Mountain View Hotel. Overall, the trip was absolute waste of our time and money.  Most of the time you will be  trekking along dusty roads filled with motorbikes and cars.(we had them enough in Hanoi)  Yes, there were some views but basically the same views you could see on the way to Sa Pa  from the La  Cai station. If not for the dusty roads, you will be jumping from boulder to boulder or scrambling up  almost vertical slopes for no reason. You can't see any local life except for some chickens, stray dogs, and cows along the road. Yes, locals were eager to help on some treacherous parts but then aggressively pushed to buy some overpriced crap from them during our lunch break saying that we would break our necks if not for their help. That's was probably the only reason we had to climb steep slopes and jumped from boulder to boulder! We would strongly advice NOT TO TAKE any trekking trips! Moreover, Sa Pa is a tourist trap and not worth visiting at all. There are much better places to visit.  Very disappointing.

1 Day Join-in Sapa Trek - No-frills Sapa Highlights

First I want to thank David of Worldmate Travel for the best arrangement of  4 adults & 2 children to have a memorable and family bonding time. The food and accomodation was fantastic.
At SAPA the weather was cold but the people, food and beauty of the mountains and clouds is just awesome. Looking forward to go back next summer. Fansipan too has its cloud drifting along you but the climb to 3143 mtr peak was tiresome yet challenging with the 600 steep steps. 
At Halong bay on the La Regina cruise was great. Dai and the manager with Hoa is always there for us. The ambience , rooms and food is great too. they are so courteous and knowledgeable. Visited the cave as well.

Sapa-FanSiPan-Halong Bay

We arrived after a poor nights stay elsewhere so was refreshing to have such good service, although we had some issues with the first room and a lock, we got a room with a great view sorted, and they couldn’t apologise or try hard enough for us. Great service, and the view was faultless. 

Ms moon is lovely 

We book the sapa trip with Hanoi tour company. Our package include stay, meals and sapa tour.

The service from Mrs Moon was super great. Every meal provided was big portions and super delicious comoare to my past few days meal in Halong Bay and Hanoi. My son love the omelet so much.

My family came to sapa and booked 3 nights in this hotel by tour agency . Ms. Moon was warmly welcome our group , she made us feel like home . 
Good location, friendly staff like family, the room is a little small but clean and very nice view. The hotel in the center so many restaurant nerby . Thanks Ms. Moon for evething things during our family stayed there. I strong recommend to choose this hotel if you have chance come to Sapa 

Nice view hotel 

We had a great experience in this hotel, especially because of Mrs Moon! She speaks English fluently, which is not common in Vietnam. She helped us with everything, from day tours around Sapa to booking buses outside. 
The price of the room is very reasonable and there’s hot water in the shower all day long. It’s not a luxurious hotel, but it provided all our needs. 

Best time ever

Came here initially upon arrival to Sapa and chose to stay in an multi-bed dorm. When I visited the dorm post paying to drop off my bags, the room stunk of damp, the bed sheets didn’t smell clean and there wasnt a lock on the communal toilet/shower door. Thankfully the lady on reception was happy to refund me so I didnt have to stay the night.

What a wonderful woman, she provided us with everything you could hope for and always with a smile. Food was delicious, the views were magnificent, rooms were perfectly adequate (despite the storm and powercut whilst I took a shower!), and our organised trek to Sapa was wonderful. Mrs Moon even looked after one of our friends who was ill at the hotel (whilst we headed on the trek) and she provided her with regular check ups, jam and bread, and then subsequently arranged her travel to meet us on the second day of trekking!
