Fantastic, clean spacious room, great facilities and a great size shower room with glass door so the whole room doesn't get wet.  We had to check in ,in the middle of the night, after a problem with the hotel we had already booked. This was no problem at all, we booked only for that night but ended up extending or stay for three more nights and they gave a free room upgrade. Very helpful at reception, Google translate helped here but there was no problem at all.  Situated in the middle of sapa Town easy walking distance to both sides.  Really enjoyed my stay here, bit of luxury at a really affordable price.

Don't overlook this hotel!!!!

This is a typical budget hotel, which can be found all over town. In fact, having stayed in a number of these hotels, I would wager the same architect and builders constructed many of them.

There is nothing wrong with the hotel room or bathroom. They are reasonably well designed and well appointed/furnished. The bedding, towels, linen, etc, were in good condition. The heat/air-con unit, hot water, refrigerator, and WI-Fi all worked fine. 

The problem with these hotels is that the owners do zero maintenance and the cleaning is sub-par. So, unfortunately, the room and bathroom are a bit grotty and need a couple of coats of paint. Otherwise, it's a perfectly good hotel.

I paid a walk-in rate of 600,000 VND which was reasonable considering that it was during a really busy week during peak season.

This hotel would be a good choice for visits during the winter as it has heat and good bedding.

Typical budget hotel

Hotel looked nice in pictures but it wasn't the case in real life. Place had smokers in lobby, funky smell in elevator and rooms. Room was stuffy and felt moldy. We also found a few cockroaches in the rooms. This place was cheap and budget friendly and located near the center of Sapa. You definitely get what you pay for. If budget allows, I suggest paying slightly higher for a better and more comfortable stay.

You get what you pay for...

Hotel itself: room was clean and cozy. Heater works well. Balcony has a decent view. Smell was a little off.

Suggestion: do not allow staff to smoke in the lobby, this may be what causes the funky smell.

Location: we were able to rent motorbikes for cheap ($6/ day) nex door and we were within reach of local restaurants and all of sapa. We were also right next to cameltravel bus stop which takes you back to hanoi.

Overall, a decent experience

Decent stay

The first room we were booked into had no window so we relocated.

Bathroom/toilet is a wet room. Personally I'm not a fan of these and most Westerners aren't used to a room where EVERYTHING gets wet.

The breakfast included in the booking was VERY limited and the "restaurant" area also housed motorbikes overnight so it smelt.

A typically Vietnamese building with mostly concrete or marble surfaces, so very, very noisy inside and the staff communicated with each other by yelling to each other up and down the stairwell.

Bad bed too. No inner spring mattresses here, just the 100mm thick rubber blocks that are common in Vietnames houses.

Built with Asian tourists in mind. Not up to Western standards.

Don't come near this place!!! The hotels walls are as this as paper. You can hear everything that happens around the hotel! Even the constructions (as if it was inside your room!!). If you plan on sleeping more then 4 hours without waking up in the middle don't even think of this place! Moreover, the bed is hard as a rock, there might be hot water for only 5 minutes  (and that happens if and only if you wait in the room for it to heat more then 2 hours!!!). And no one here knows a word in English so if you have a problem no one will care.

One of the worst hotels I've been in

The place is really nice. Warm host who grew up in Sapa. Local lifestyle and food are extremely satisfying. A place to chill and relax while enjoying the Sapa weather. Will definitely go again. Recommend to look for Mr.Tim as your guide if you're up to some challenging stuff.
