Awful hotel and room. It looked abandoned when we pulled in no sign & lobby was locked. Had to call & wait a while for staff to check us in. Bed was clean but the room smelt bad. A/C worked thank goodness. No Kleenex in the bathroom & mold in the shower. We should’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn across the road. The pictures of this hotel must be decades old they’re very misleading. Do yourself a favour & pass on this one.

Don’t bother staying here

Filthy filthy filthy. If I wouldn’t have precooked and paid for two nights at would have left. I ended up disinfecting my whole room. Omg. So so dirty. I am not fussy and can get past a hair on the floor but this was unbelievable. The only good thing was the comfortable bed!

Work overnight stay

Stayed here one night in late Nov 2020 during Covid protocols. 
Room was DIRTY. Stains from toilet cleaner not scrubbed, hair in the shower, cup stains on the bathroom counter, and a sticky stain in a cabinet drawer. I found a puncture hole in the wall hidden by the curtain.

I chose this place because they advertise new beds. Granted, the bed was comfortable.

Upon walk-away checkout, they called me saying I put the hole in the wall and they are charging me $200. 
When I called to complain, the "manager" threatened to charge another $300 just for complaining. 

Don't go here. Anywhere else would be better than getting scammed like me.

Charged for pre-existing damages

Pictures tell a lie. Price seemed fair until we got there. Then waaay overpriced. Room was shabby and had no heat. We were offered a plug in heater. The outside should have told us. Boarded up windows, desperate for a paint job.  Instant refund. The person checking in while I checked out  ended up at our new hotel. .

A solid No

Showed up for our reservation at 10:30pm after a long day of travel. The front desk was unoccupied with a sign saying to call a phone number for an attendant. When someone finally picked up he said quite rudely “I’m in the restaurant, just wait a few minutes...” as if we were bothering him by checking in for our stay. 

While we waited for someone to show up to check us in we were able to see the general state of the place which was in severe disrepair. We decided we would rather stay elsewhere based on the assumption that if the public-facing areas were poorly cared for, the room would be as well. 

When a front desk agent finally arrived I asked her to cancel my reservation and refund my money and she either didn’t understand or pretended not to and kept trying to urge us along into staying. Since she refused to cancel my reservation we just walked out, hoping we could get a refund through Expedia, where we booked. 

The whole place had a creepy, derelict vibe, and customer service was abysmal. Would not recommend to anyone.

Do Not Book

Really clean room and the staff was friendly, for the price very nice would stay again when in town across the street KFC and chinese buffet, did have time yo try them. Supper store a block away easy walking distance.

Very Nice

This motel does not look all that inviting from the outside but we were fine with having a room that we could drive up to.  The room was clean and large and there were security locks on both the inner hallway and outer doors.  The parking lot was a bit rough but they are working on getting it repaved.  The room was very reasonably priced and suited our requirements for an overnight stay.

My mother seen online the rooms looked clean and cheap so she booked a room. It cost $100.48 we were given 2 water bottles & told no security. At our door was a full box of cinnamon buns. Inside the room red & white stains on carpet, wristlets from the hospital under the 1st bed, the second 1 had a wad of tissue paper. Not a place to bring a 10 month old. We attempted to get our money back and they fought tooth and nail saying they dont watch their cleaners 24/7. We eventually got our money back. Do not go there!!!

Disgusting!!!

Had my original booking go wrong in Yorkton when i showed up at another hotel and last option was the Broadway Lodge.  Reviews scared me but having had other experiences in staying in small town older hotels i thought i would check it out before disregarding it.  First impression was a horror show as you drive up to it - it appears deserted and rooms full of stuff in the windows.  But once you turn the corner you can see the other leg of the hotel and was fully functional.  I was skeptical but went into the office which was clean and front office staff very pleasant.  After some questions i found out that the front half of the hotel has been sold and will be demolished to build a strip mall - hence the unruly state.  The north leg of the hotel is still being used and has been somewhat updated.  It is used a lot by construction and other works needing longer term stay for cheap.  Room was a 2-star with definitely some wear but the bed and bedding was newer and room was clean.  There are two doors - one to oustide and one to inside hallway and both have deadbolts.  Rooms are quite roomy and have all the necessities.  Wall air conditioner worked well and kept room cool.  Price was definitely reasonable and I did have a good sleep.  Most workers are up early so don't expect to sleep in unless you keep the fan on for noise. Was quiet during the night. Big trucks and lots of people move around quite early.  bring your own shampoo as amenities are a mish mash from other places.....
