First, I have to say that Babis is an amazing host. I lost my wallet in a taxi on our last night (!) and he really put himself out helping me recover it and even got it to me in Athens the next day, all without asking for anything in return. This act of generosity really made my trip, not just because I got my wallet back intact but because Babis was so helpful and kind. This is the best of what we can be as human beings. 

This kind of hospitality and care extended to our stay at Aegean Villas, both from Babis and from the terrific Nertila who showed us into our apartment. Babis gave us great food recommendations (I recommend the Old Platanus in town, and also the Garden Taverna). We didn't try Andreas Family restaurant, but that also looked wonderful. 

We had a second floor balcony apartment with a view of the sea. We loved having meals out on the balcony. The Odyssey is just a few steps away with a delicious and generous buffet breakfast. A few more minutes up the hill are the supermarket, outstanding Colonna bakery, and a bike rental shop. 

The apartment is very clean, spacious and both open to the light and able to be cooled with darkening curtains. 

What I loved best was the sea right outside your door. You can be in the water in about 90 seconds, and there's a good stretch of water for swimming along the shore. Heaven. 

Aegean Villas is the best

We spent a fabulous week at this establishment, well appointed with everything you need. Great pool and the beach just across the road. Loads of very nice restaurants around and a supermarket just up the road. Lovely balcony with a nice view, we spent many hours there just chilling. 
Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back.

A week on Poros. 

Stayed here 4 years ago and came back in Aug 2022.  The place has changed a bit as the bathrooms were modernised and 2 rooms have private pools.

We loved the location the 1st time, hence booking again.  Babis is a wonderful host and the cleaning lady (sorry I didn't get her name) was very nice as well.  We rented one of the rooms with a private pool for my partner's birthday.  It was perfectly suited to our needs.  I even ended up with food poisoning one night and Babis offered to go to the pharmacy for me.  He was always very helpful and friendly.  The café in the front is a nice bonus - best coffee on the island.

Would highly recommend and should we be back in Greece, we would stay here again.  

Only suggestions: better WiFi - connection was weak so we had to use our phone to hotspot as my partner had to work a bit; more privacy around the private pools as other guests would walk through our area.  

Also, maybe a gate at the front by the road.  I saw random strangers off the street come in and use the communal pool three times  - one time their friends were videoing the whole thing and laughing.

Lovely stay

This is a great place to stay in Poros. The apartments are a generous size and lots of included amenities. 
It’s very close to everything and just a cheap taxi fare if you prefer not to walk. 
The view is amazing, with a lovely outlook. 
Swimming pool & deck area are excellent and clean. 
Would be better if there was laundry service onsite, I am surprised there isn’t. Also the front of the hotel is just dirt, where are the flowers that are all around the rooms?
All in all, excellent value and I highly recommend it.

Excellent!

We stayed for 11 nights at the end of the Summer season. Our apartment on the first floor had a huge balcony and a beautiful view of the sea - literally just across the road; perfect for breakfast outside or an early evening drink to watch the sunset. Excellent location - 20 minute walk to Poros town, 2 supermarkets just 100 metres up the hill, plus cycle and quad-bike hire and some good local restaurants also within 100 metres (we particularly liked the Panorama restaurant). Watersports available on the beach opposite.

The apartment is very spacious with a living/dining room and a separate (quiet) bedroom at the back. The kitchen area is fairly well equipped with crockery and pans - although some smaller utensils (such as a small, sharp knife and scissors) would be useful.

Linen is changed frequently, towels are changed every day and you can use the towels when sitting around the pool. The pool area is lovely and clean and the sun-beds are comfortable and plentiful.

The bed (as is the case in many European hotels and apartments) is VERY hard! despite it having a good-quality brand mattress.

The bathroom has a good shower but is a bit tired-looking; I felt it needed a really good, deep clean, particularly the floor tiles, toilet and shower surround - probably due to us being the last guests of the season. The cleaning lady, however, came in every day to remove rubbish, sweep the floor and change towels/ linen.

Sakis is very friendly - he came round to check that everything was OK and organised a driver to take us to the port on our last day to catch the ferry.

Excellent location and wonderful sea view

Another wonderful holiday staying at Aegean Villas. You just can't fault the place......the accommodation is extremely comfortable and clean, the bathrooms have great showers and the bed linen and towels are changed every two days. The pool and poolside beds are some of the best on the island and you're a stones throw from the beach. What more could you want - we'll be back next year without a doubt.

Just Perfect....

We were very impressed with the amenities at Aegean Villas, a home from home. Plush furnishings, nice finishes, fully equipped kitchen with top of the range appliances, tv in each room, safe and hair dryer supplied. The apartment and balcony are spacious big enough to entertain in. Surrounded by restaurants and bars in Askeli and only a twenty minute walk to Poros town or five minutes by taxi which is only €4. The apartment was cleaned every day and the whole complex was spotless, tended to by very helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely be returning to Aegean Villas in the future and highly recommend it.

Something Special

Aegean villas is the perfect place to stay  - 8 lovely apartments with big balconies, clean towels and sheets every other day. A fabulous pool with very comfortable sunbeds and large sun shades. Wifi inside and out and a home cinema TV system. With lovely views across the bay and shops and restaurants within walking distance, you can't ask for more - nothing is too much trouble for Sakis and his team and if you want to hire some transport, just up the hill behind Aegean Villas is Stellios, he'll rent you a quad bike. It was our 2nd visit and just as memorable as the first, many thanks Sakis.
