Hospitality

Central location in the heart of the historic centre with partial sea view. A few steps from Via Atenea with numerous restaurants, tractories and pastry shops where you can enjoy excellent granite and Sicilian pastry!

Pleasant stay

I stayed here for three nights as I was working in Agrigento. My room was huge, bright and airy. The breakfast was fantastic- an amazing choice. In fact so much you couldn’t try everything. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. It’s quite quiet at this end of the main road. The only issue us you can hear the people talking in the room next door and you can also hear when they use the loo.  Overall, though, an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Great value for money

Great room and fantastic breakfast

The location of the b&b in the heart of the historic center is ideal for visiting the city. The fresco room with majolica floors is magnificent! The breakfast is rich in Sicilian leccornies. Angela and Francesca were amazing in suggesting what to visit! To return!

Relaxing and Pleasant Rest

We were in Agrigento for two days, making a trip around Sicilia. The B&B is situated in the centre of the town. Easiest way to travel here is probably by train as you arrive at the edge of city centre where the B&B is situated. We arrived by Taxi and the Sicilian driver didn't get much help from Google maps which in my experience always sends you to your destination in the most difficult way. As we dove around in cirkels a few times and the driver was about to panic we decided to call Angela and after a hearted conversation Italians are famous for directions were found immediately. 

Angela graciously waited for us in the shopping street as it is wiser not to drive into the street the B&B is situated in as you need to back out of it to leave. As the buildings surrounding the B&B are quite dingy.

The B&B itself looks very well taken care of. It's spotlessly clean everywhere and Angela gives you a very welcome feeling and tells you were to find the hot spots in town. As it was quiet at the moment we got a free upgrade to the room with the fresco ceiling of which many foto's can be found here and is enormous. As we are very into classical styles we fell in love with the room immediately. A great working airconditioning is provided in the room and again everything is spotlessly clean. Next day we met Francesca who takes care of the breakfast. Now there are some people here complaining about the breakfast and all I can say that these probably are people you can't satisfy whatever you do. Bread, croissants, cookies, a variety of sweets, meats and cheese koffie and orange juice and yoghurts were provides and we were even asked a few times if we needed anything.

We really were sorry to leave this place and will with no doubt return if we need to.

Excellent B&B

The title summarizes a bit the feeling that my wife and I felt as soon as we passed the threshold of our room. Original floor of the epoch frescoed ceiling balcony with sea view and strictly antique furniture, there is no shortage of basic amenities, such as climate, TV and refrigerator. The owner Angela and her collaborator Francesca really offer a warmth of other times. I want to refute a review where it is said that breakfast is dozens with packaged products, but what this means homemade crostates cannons and sweet crafts etc. For our trip they prepared us the pancakes and offered everything else in the buffet.

A room in Sicily from other times

The girls who work there are spectacularly kind, they helped us in everything much more than we could have expected. Very good recommendations. The room was huge, clean, bright and air-conditioned. They set up a cot for our baby. Every morning we had a super nice and complete breakfast, and a smiling girl with every desire to help. They left us an umbrella for when we went to the beach, and they gave us bottles of water so that the baby wouldn't pass!

A perfect B&B!

I stayed in this wonderful building with my boys and I felt really at home! Kindness, courtesy and a wonderful welcome made our stay special. Angela led us to discover this land by providing us with material and information both to visit and to discover its flavors!

You can't stay here!!!

We spent 2 nights at the Alloggio Della posts vecchia to see the nearby 
Valley of the temples.It is in an authentic old building in an alley and doesnt look great from the outside, but we were presently surprised when we entered.Angela welcomed us with coffee, water and biscuits and took a lot of time to give us tips how to get to The Valley of temples, what attractions to see in town,bars and restaurants.
The room was spacious with tiles on the floor, antique furniture, a painting on the ceiling and a small balcony with a view of the town and the Mediterranean in the distance.
The breakfast prepared by Francesca was very good with fresh fruit, yoghurt,ham,Salami,different cheeses,sweets.Both our hosts made as feel so welcome that we were sad to leave.
The allegro is situated right on the old part of town, 10 minutes walk from the bus station.Closeby is a nice restaurant Osteria L Ambasciata di Sicilia with good sicilian food, and a lovely atmosphere.

Amazing

I highly recommend this B&B for its fantastic location, for the cleanliness, the organization and the extraordinary kindness of the owner, Angela La Señora came to pick us up on the street, gave us a free upgrade room, provided us with every possible indication for visiting the city.
