The views can’t be beat, there is a very nice deck where you can sit and enjoy.  However the staff, with exception of the young woman in the restaurant, was very unfriendly.  It was like they didn’t even know you were there.  Room was standard and clean.

Nice views but not welcoming

A superb property in a stunning location with breathtaking views of Mount Kazbegi. The staff are warm and welcoming and make every effort to make you feel at home. The restaurant has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the view. You can walk in the fields surrounding the property and the centre of the village is not far away. 

Peace and tranquility in Kazbegi

Me and my parents were disappointed. We had a room with 3 beds and shared bathroom. The sower is situated right next to the door and everything is wet. I think a hotel should already have a comfortable shower! There was also problem with toilet, could not be flushed. Breakfast average. Horrible coffee. In hotel they could already serve espresso and there was no water or juice!!! Disappointed.

Better to find a nice guesthouse

Stayed with friends. Staff friendly but speaks very little to no English. Pricey for what the rooms are. The doorlock on the toilet didn’t work. We asked to be repaired, they did but only locks from the outside. 🙄 Shower drain was clogged and took a long time to drain all the water. We also had to hold the shower head all the time we need to shower as there is simply no place to hook it up on.

Saw hairs on the comforter. Bed is soft and comfy. Nice view of the mountains from the balcony and windows. Breakfast is average but filling.

There’s a good hour hike up to a small church. Nice views of a waterfall if you can walk uphill for an hour or so.

Nice view but not the rooms

Pros:
Nice view of Mt. Kazbegi and friendly kitchen staff and nice breakfast/dining area. 

Cons:
1. The front desk staff was totally uhelpful. I'm not sure if it was lack of English or lack of caring (I think a combination of both). We asked for some hot water and were told no, we asked about bus info to Tbilisi and were told to ask in town , we asked about hiking info and we're not given any etc. We had booked a more expensive room and moved to a cheaper one and when we checked out and left for the day we expected that our bags would be moved to our new room but they weren't. 
2. Breakfast was pretty scant for the price of the room. Only hard boiled eggs, coffee, bread and jam and yogurt to share. 
3. The location is pretty far out of town (about 15-25 minutes walk ) which means you either walk a lot or have to pay taxis a lot of money.
4. Only breakfast on the property, not lunch or dinner. 
5. The triple room with shared bath is really small - it's an A-frame room so half the room you have to crouch and it gets really uncomfortable. Pictures were a bit misleading. 
6. The shared bathroom gets really wet (no separate shower from toilet) and there is only one toilet/shower among several rooms. Some families were staying in the other rooms and took a really long time meaning we could even use the toilet for hours. 

Not worth it

The hotel is what we expected for the two nights. Basic with a great view on Mount Kazbegi. Breakfast is alright an the staff friendly. For a coupie of nights it is more than ok in this region. I'd come back here
