The apartment is very central. The parking in the opposite Karstadt Parkhouse was free and also central. The apartment was very clean and everything available for daily use. We have been here twice already and will be very happy to come back here anytime.

Overall excellent

Beautiful, lovely holiday apartment in a lovingly restored historic house, modern and conveniently furnished. Centrally located and yet quiet. From the front door directly to the pedestrian zone, you can explore Bamberg superbly. The kitchen offers everything necessary, even if we didn't need anything except the water boiler. There are finally enough good quality cafes and restaurants in Bamberg.

This accommodation is located right in the centre of Bamberg, at the new town hall and currently directly at the Christmas market; everything is easily accessible from here on foot (including the train station). The small apartment with historic wooden ceiling (15th century) offers everything you need: a comfortable sofa, TV, very good internet, microwave, dishes, etc. The small bedroom is located in the backyard and is very quiet (currently very atmospheric with the Christmas tree in front of the window), the bed was very comfortable (for one person). Modern bathroom with shower is well enclosed. The heating works and is also well regulated. The old houses are very comfortable and do not help the household.

Very central accommodation with everything you need!

We were in Bamberg in June 2022. Our accommodation really met everything to our satisfaction. The apartment was very clean, very central in the city centre, it was important that there was a parking space available. The landlords were extremely friendly and very good hosts. We will definitely recommend this accommodation and will be very happy to come back. The hygiene regulations were not followed at the time.

Beautiful and central accommodation in Bamberg

I found this holiday apartment on Booking.com and Trip Advisor: TownHall Holiday apartment Bamberg (Am Rathaus Ferienwohnung Bamberg).

I booked 5 nights. Germany is my preferred holiday destination. This time I had a big shock, the comments and photos about this place must be FAKE. The only truth is about the localization.

It's a very uncomfortable place on the ground floor. Like it was a garage this "apartment" was surrounded with a lot of bikes, baby carriages, etc all in the passage.(look at the pics I've put here)

When I arrived the key collection was not as informed via Booking.com (slick key code automatic entrance, key inside). Two small girls were playing outside, then one told me that she was the daughter of the owner. It was between the check-in times quoted and I'd sent an email before to tell the owner about my arrival time. A long time later the girl went inside and came back with a key. I wasn't confident to receive a key from a child under 12 years old so I called the owner, to ask about the code and key etc. She told me different stories, non of which made sense, then told me to wait until she eventually arrived. At last she arrived, very strange, no apologies for all the lies, and inconvenience. When inside, I detected it was a trap. The mattress must have been decades old, the pillow was horrible, bed covers all old. The street is very narrow and it feels like passing cars are driving inside the apartment, no chance to sleep. You can hear all the pedestrians talking when they walk in the street. The window is very low, you can jump to go in or outside. She said that they live behind. 

The small bedroom has a transparent, short, old curtain in front of the window which is very, very close with some strange people. 

Of course, I called her to say I won't stay there. I waited only until the next morning when I was able to find a hotel.

The city was full of tourists, so I could only find one available on the outskirts, but it was better than staying in this dump. I stayed one night in that hotel and managed to find a nice hotel in the centre for my remaining time, which is where I am now.

So guys, I suggest you take care about some fake comments here and others on this web site. It's a big trap.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!

The apartment is very well decorated. From spices to Spotify radio, there was nothing missing. The combination of historic architecture and modern amenities makes it very comfortable. Moreover, everything was super clean. Another plus is the location. You are in a quiet side street, but right in the city center. It's no better. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much.

Very comfortable, clean and central

Wonderfull renovated apartment in a central and safe location in Bamberg. The apartment has every thing you need inclusive a fully equipt kitchen and high speed Wi Fi. The apartment is situated at the ground floor, and can be a bit noisy during the day (the street is very narrow), but the apartment is well isolated, and very quiet at night. Good value for money. My husband and I are staying in the apartment for the fourth time next summer.

The best place for your holiday stay in Bamberg 

We stayed in small apartments on the ground floor with two children. The apartment is nice, the bed is comfortable, the sofa is laid out very large. At night it is very quiet. Parking is two steps from the house. There is a possibility of self-registration, i.e. you can settle in without the owner's participation. But the opening instruction is only in German and it is available only on the day of arrival, there is no way to understand in advance. So we had to annoy the hostess anyway.

It's a good option in Bamberg.

Hello, we had a great stay here in Bamberg. Very centrally located holiday apartment with good facilities and modern bathroom. Everything really good and at a moderate price. Parking in the basement garage. We're happy to come back!

Super holiday home.

Very nice, small holiday apartment in the middle of Bamberg. Clever and functional with head decorated and friendly as well as uncomplicated landlord. Highly recommended for city exploration. Shopping well in the vicinity, everything in drives.
