Was very easy check in, the room was very clean and I was able to sleep well. Keine Beschwerden. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Location is also quite decent too. About 20 minutes walk from the centre and also lots of coffee shops close by

Not sure what the fuss is about on the reviews; it’s a €30 a night, 21 bed mixed dorm. It’s not going to be luxury. Don’t come here if you’re looking for boutique travel but was perfect for me and my 4 mates backpacking around Europe. Very loud at night as right by a strip of bars but you trade that off with its location in the heart of Amsterdam. Beds aren’t great and there is no air con so the rooms are baking at night.

Nice hostel in amsterdam clean nice staff very good location’ amsterdam is very nice room are big in a dorm nic atmospher. Many restauranst at the location’  central staion is vey near and thrams are very close

Nice hostel

This is disgusting. Dirty beds, no sheets for pillows and blankets, unfriendly employees. A very nasty smell is all over the hostel. Really guys, don’t be cheap here. It’s not worth it. Spend some more euros on a better place. This is the worst!!!!

Worst hostel I’ve ever been to

I do not recommend this hotel, it is very dirty and there are bedbugs in the dormitories. I made a terrible allergic reaction due to theses bugs and the manager don’t even reply to my e-mails. I called several times and tried to find an arrangement with them but they don’t even respect their customers enough to reply. Don’t stay there it is terrible and expensive.

I was surprised by the rooms, they were much nicer than anticpated. What I liked most is the super friendly staff and people staying there. I had no charge on my phone, the receptionist gave me a charger and made me feel welcome with friendly conversations and they were supportive of my business meeting! Until next time…!

Super friendly staff, posh hostel- very clean.

The beds are tiny, floor is semi clean, but the 12 bed dorm is way too big. The bin was rarely taken out (in the 5 nights I was there). The bathroom floor was disgusting with toilet paper on the wet floor. There was a boy who urinated on the ground in the bedroom (potentially aiming for the bin) and were not kicked out of the hostel. No lockers which isn't safe. Location was really good.

Too expensive for what you get

I give it two stars because when we booked and i saw the reviews, i was expecting it to be worse. We were 12 people so we were lucky to be in the same room. The room was not too clean and the beds are small amd uncomfortable. The bathroom is weird, since there is no curtain in the shower so it gets really messy after so many people have to shower, and the shower could be a lot better. The hostel itself really needs improvement since the wall paper is falling down and the carpet is dirty and broken. If you want a table, it is SOLD for 6€. 3€ to leave luggage after check out. When we made the reservation we were not told that the did not accept credit card, so we had to go to an atm to get a lot of money. Overall experience, it is not worth the money we pais (more than 60€ per night)

My room consisted of three things:
1.Angry, sweaty, half naked blokes who do nothing but stare.
2.It smelt like stale chunder and mouse piss.
3.My bed sheets smelt like cheese, and appeared tie died with stains.
Oh and the receptionist even pre warns you your sleeping with mice aswell as sweaty blokes.

Up there as No1 for the most hanging night of my life.

I stayed here for 1 night. The hostel is situated at very happening place. "All" the things will be availble just outside of the hostel. 

This hostel is equipped with very basic requirements. Beds are not well maintained. There are no private locker. You have to keep your valuables in reception. They will give you token in return and will keep it. 
Only good thing was there was hot water available in the washroom.
