We rented two apartments - the Wilk and the Wiewiorka ones - for 8 nights - 7 persons in total. 

Unfortunately, the photos we had previously seen on the website were not true at all. We found the apartments very dirty, with spider webs on the ceiling above the bed, dirt under the furniture and in the bathroom, dirt on the kitchen table and on the stove. 

The main bedroom door was a sliding door, but broken, as it opened/closed with a lot of noise and offered no intimacy whatsoever. The second bedroom was extremely small, with two twin beds. One of the bedrooms in the Wieworka apartment had no windows at all, which made it really suffocating. 

The refrigerator was extremely small, the size of a minibar. The kitchenware, glasses, plates, and other utensils were also very dirty. The glasses in the cupboard were glued to the shelf because of the dried out dirt. The dining area had a glass table with metal legs that had old traces of dirt leaking towards the floor.

Furthermore, the most disturbing thing was that during the day and in the early hours of the morning the heat in the radiators, as well as the hot water were turned off. Sometimes there was no warm water to shower in the morning. We found out from one of the neighbour that this was the policy of the entire compound, in order to save the energy. However, it was very annoying to wake up in the cold and with no warm water to wash.

The service was also disappointing. When we arrived we had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to come and open the door, although we had previously announced the exact hour of our arrival. Then we had to wait for another 15 minutes for the person to presumably clean the rooms. Also, when we first called to announce there was no heat, the person in charge came but gave us no explanation and just left when we asked to talk to her manager. The lady in charge had almost no English speaking skills, and we barely understood each other.

The location is however nice, the last building on Bory street, near the forest. It is closer to the Nosal slope, but far away from Krupowky street, where everything happens in the town. Although on the site it said it was 25 minutes away, it took us exactly 60 minutes to reach Krupowki street by foot (one way).

To sum up, we will definitely go back to Zakopane, the city and the entire area is amazingly beautiful. But we will never stay in Tatrzanskie Turnie Apartments ever again. We do not recommend this apartments and we hope that the owner will make some changes.
