My worst booking experience

Unfortunately, due to national strikes, we were blocked for several hours in the closets, which resulted in a delay. So we had the courtesy of calling the responsible for the accommodation at the 9pm check-in in order to prevent our late arrival. But, to our great surprise, they refused to hear anything and we were simply refused to accept any conditions: We also told them that a reception was not open at the time of arrival, as they had not been able to contact the person responsible for the accident, they did not answer the phone, they did not answer the phone, they did not answer the phone, they did not answer the phone, and we did not answer the phone, and we did not answer the phone, and we did not answer the phone.

We were unable to see our stay in April 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic as the borders between Germany and Switzerland were closed. The hotel was unreachable several times. It is clear that the hotels were also hard hit due to the state of emergency but neither by phone nor by email to be reached for a cancellation or postponement of the date and still to book the night on the credit card is an absolute shame! But apparently according to the reviews we are not the only ones who had this problem, the pension would have been advised to contact the affected people as quickly as possible in order to limit the damage of the bad reviews!

Booking a multi trip holiday, I put the wrong date in by mistake. I tried to change the date within 24 hours to no avail , I lost £117 on a hotel that I cannot use! I have had to book elsewhere NOW too/ Funny thing IS, there is now a room available to new customers for an adiitonal £108. I tried callling too, which was just a further expense and waste of time. I spoke with a gentleman who could not help me, but infomed me to email the hotel, not through Booking.com as this was the best way to solve the problem as booking.com is not good. Guess what I have? yep you guessed it...Not one resonse to my booking.com raised case and not one response to my email! A whole bunch of NOTHING! THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE BIT OF NOTHING I HAVE EVER RECIEVED IN MY LIFE. WOW! CUTOMER SERVICE 0. HONESTY 0. FRENILYNESS 0. COMMUNICATION 0.  TIME 0. Please Avoid if you want to protect your hard ernt cash and feel wothy of recieving decent customer service - read the reviews-  I am not an isolated case, but I now know, I am  one of many!

No communication, waste of money!

In view of the conditions we live in, I cannot travel. When I addressed the hotel management, they refused to cancel the reservation without any charge like other apartment and did not appreciate the conditions we are living in now.

We had to cancel our stay because of Corona. We wanted to postpone the stay, but no one was reachable by phone and my repeated requests by email were simply not answered. A postponement or even refund by the final cancellation was not possible. Really disappointing, we would have liked to have come at a later time, but then we will book in a better and more professional accommodation where the typical German hospitality is still lived. I advise everyone to book at these bookmakers.

Really, really bad service.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay because of Corona (or postpone it indefinitely). The hotel does not respond to emails or calls, the money is probably lost now. We will definitely not book there anymore.

No receipt of cancellation

We had to cancel our stay for Corona's sake. Even though we would have booked our vacation later and we would have booked in the pension, the landlord did not meet us with the cancellation costs. We paid the full amount. I would consider whether to book here. We will certainly not book here anymore! Very bad service!

We went by booking. We called the day before to say that we would arrive shortly after 8:00 ==> reply no problem We arrived at 8:05 and there we were received with the gun: * deplorable welcome see aggressive * We are explained (in German + a little English) that my CB did not pass and that we have to go withdraw cash and we have 5 minutes to do it otherwise they close * We are also trying to ask for the same explanations for the CB, nothing to do. We are told not to say anything about booking, finally if we tell them we are not at home booking will charge us (hey but I thought my CB was not passing!!!) * I ask to check the bill later in the day because it is actually impossible to receive my booking but you have to pay the booking fee, and the booking fee is very strange. * If you have not checked the booking department, then I have to check the bill, but I have to check the check the check the bill, and the booking office has declared that it is not possible to make the booking, and the booking service is very strange.
