Unfortunately this charming and stylish B&B has closed and no longer exists. All the stylish furniture, glass collections and lamps have been dismantled, so there is no continuity with possible future solutions. Unfortunately this wonderful and fantastic place has closed down.

Located just across the road from the waterfront and right in amongst beautiful Trieste, the Ai Moretti B&B is in a great location to have as a base to wander about Trieste. The house is filled with many art works and trinkets on display in all of the large, high ceilinged rooms. Our bedroom was enormous, with views across town and to the water. Marcelo was most helpful and accomodating. He was called away from town during our stay but had a friend arrive to settle us in and show us the ropes. Beautiful apartment. Excellent value for money. 

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Trieste

Found at the last one for a chance... we liked it!! A beautiful three-story house furnished in a very original way... a large hallway with numerous doors, behind each one seems to hide a secret... every space seems to be filled with a singular and special object. A pleasant mix of tastes that makes the guest feel at home and not in a cold passing hotel:) the room was beautiful and clean, quiet, comfortable bed. The only drawback was the bathroom outside the room but fortunately it was for exclusive and clean use (with a wide choice of shampoo, earplugs and phon), so no problem!!

Like at home.

My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend thanks also to Massimiliano and Marcello and their tastefully furnished B&B, spacious rooms and a great breakfast.

Very central, welcoming and very polite.

I live in Trieste, I booked a double room on behalf of foreign friends. The assigned room was without keys, I've never heard of such a situation. To the complaints of the guests it was said so much never happens anything, there's nothing to worry about. At 7 in the morning, while the guests were in bed, there was the break-in of an unidentified man who apologized and left. The room was specifically requested with a bathroom, but the bathroom was in the hallway, it was not clear whether to use exclusively (?) or virginally. The website writes Internet corridor (?) and of continental breakfast salty and sweet: the first day 1 single brunch, the second one in addition to something else.

B&B not meeting expectations

Amazing place on a Venetian square - still with original walls and decoration. The owners are collectors of all sorts of fascinating objects and Max could not do enough to make sure we were comfortable. Good bed, lovely shower, nice qaulity breakfast in a room looking out over the square.

A unique place where you feel cared for

Being suddenly without accommodation in the middle of a heat wave, awesome Marcello stepped up and we had a room within 20 minutes. Extended day by day no problem (we're terrible at planning and just fell in love with the place), lovely breakfast when we wanted it and our own keys - we even got our clothes washed for us, for free. The apartment is an absolute gem and a tourist destination of its own - especially for furniture enthusiasts. 120% Ikea-free, quaranteed indeed, and the balcony overlooking Piazza Venezia, the bay and the hills was perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. Air condition would have been nice, but we made do with a fan and a lot of showers. Would definitely stay there again, anytime.

A destination in its own right

We have arrived in this city, which is absolutely worth visiting because it is a small jewel like the B&B that hosted us. An apartment full of history, with only three rooms furnished with a very refined taste. The very spacious room full, but not suffocated with objects, books, antique and vintage furniture. The entrance hall and the dining room, which are also full of objects and furniture that tell you the story of a past time, but which is still alive and very present. The breakfast served in an excellent way for us on a small seaside property, with porcelain and silver services d? and d? and no. The manager is kind, short and original of great availability. A place with care and care and beautiful for love.

A pleasant surprise

We are a family of 3 and had a large room with views across the piazza and harbour across the road.Marcello is very welcoming,discreet and obliging.He made is a delicious breakfast each morning at a time that suited us.Both the bedroom and breakfast room are exquisitely furnished,a decorators delight.We felt like a royal family staying in a palace.New bathroom well stocked.A privelidge to stay here.

Amazing interiors

Extremely cute place, in central location.
I have never been to a bed and breakfast before, and I have not been used to shared bathrooms, however the design and the spirit of the place has definitely made up for it. Very carefully arranged antiquities all over the place, and very kind people. The boy has even made us breakfast early in the morning as we were leaving before the cafe opens, where he usually sends his guests.
You might have problem with parking though in the area.
