We stayed here on two separate occasions. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. The location is great - close to everything and only a short walk to the main train station. This is a great base while in Hamburg and good value for money. We will stay here anytime we are in Hamburg. 

Great base for Hamburg visits

The worst hotel ever!
It was a fire trap with only one escape route
It was renovated with duct tape on the floor and packing tape on the window
The host was rude and slow
I have seen stables that were cleaner than this hotel


The worst hotel ever!

Very great room. We spent four nights at beefang. The staff was very helpfull and kind. We felt at Home, and the location was perfect. If we ever come back to Hamburg, we Will make sure to stay at the beefang hotel.

Small getaway

Excelent choice if you need a clean cozy room in the heart of City centre. It is not a fency hotel but you can see it from the price. Instead is quiet, very good located, close to Train Station, bus Station, shops and a lot of restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Definetly we will recomand it and we will stay there any time we get to Hamburg.

Such a beautiful room, very spacious and well decorated. The room is also very clean and neat. 
The location is also excellent, close to the inner city. It's also a quiet place close to public transport and food services.

Hotel review

I traveled with my partner during post corona times and this place is a great deal for money! Very central (right next to the central station) with a supermarket and nice and cheap restaurants closeby and very clean as well. Exactly what we needed for restarting our travels around Europe. Also if you are an student you get some discounts!

Good value for money

We had a very last Minute trip to Germany booked so were looking for the cheapest price, we came across Hotel Bee Fang as a cheap option very close to the station and where our friends were staying in a hostel. I was informed the morning after booking (the day of travel) that I would need to provide ID so that my key could be left in a lock box as I was arriving after the reception closed, I sent this information and I thought the reply was delayed but to be fair it was more the worry as I was just getting onto a plane, the contact was in fact good for a hotel.

Upon arrival reception was closed but collecting the key and checking in the next morning was made very simple with a multilingual receptionist who was very friendly. 

The hotel is dated, the lock to our toilet was broken, shower not the best and we were woken up by people arguing in the night and early morning, the later is out of the control of the hotel but worth mentioning as these points are the reasons I can't give full points.

For a quick trip, a base or if you're no thrills then this is a great place on a budget.

Good Value

We were traveling 2 adults and 2 kids.. family room served our needs with 2* twin beds which meant we all got to sleep well. Plain room with the basics. As we only used it for sleeping, we did not need any xtra comfort. Breakfast was simple but good for the price. Great location close by the central station.

You get what you pay for

Very good situation close to the central station. 
Not a luxury hotel but there is what you need for a couple of nights stay. It's a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. 
The only thing I missed was wifi. In these days you expect free wifi in all hotels, but here you have to pay. 
But the nice view from my window was included in the price.
There is a lift if you have problems with stairs.

Cheap, clean and central.

One of the cheapest hotels in central Hamburg.
Excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk from the Haupbahnhof. Good sized spotlessly clean rooms, has a lift.
Decor a bit past it's best, but look past that and you'll have a great stay.
Comfortable, warm, and with a lovely friendly welcome on arrival.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, as it certainly beats the horrible impersonal "box" hotels on service, price, and location.
