had a lovely stay with my friend. the room was clean, with good facilities. A great price and central location. A varied breakfast menu with lots of choices. Very friendly host and pleasant staff. Would recommend and return visits planned.

Stayed for one night meeting friends in town. Very warm welcome, and lovely comfortable rooms. We were upgraded to en suite. Friendly staff and great breakfast included with vegan and vegetarian options. Garden looked lovely. Will definitely be back in summer. Thank  you everyone!!

Excellent value!

Lovely peaceful stay, the beds were comfortable and the shower was great! There was Netflix on the TV in the room which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast included in the price was the cherry on the top.

We only had one night to stay while passing through on our way from Inverness to St Andrews.  We had a long drive day and were tired and hungry! After a prompt, easy checkin we made reservations at the restaurant.  I ordered the special at the time, a chicken and wild mushroom pie that was TO DIE FOR! My husband and son ended up eating part of mine because of my rave review,  they thought it was great as well.  We hung out in the bar area and played cards and had dessert after dinner, sticky toffee pudding.. also delicious.  Highly recommend this little gem to any who stop in the area!

Wonderful Stay, Wonderful Service, Wonderful Food

Excellent location for a chilled out Sunday. We spent the afternoon in the suntrap that is the beer garden. Jack was extremely friendly and attended to all our needs, food and drink wise. Would definitely recommend paying a visit. We will be back 🙂

Enjoyable experience 

Stayed in this lovely hotel as we were attending a wedding locally. On arrival the staff were friendly and attentive, getting us booked in and keys to the room given. The room was lovely, spacious with en-suite. We had a fantastic meal in the bar in the evening which was well priced and perfectly cooked. Breakfast was included in the price which was a full Scottish. Definitely would stay here again if I have occasion to over night inn Stonehaven. Thankyou Belvedere.

One night only

20 of us went to the Belvedere after the Feein Market. Food was excellent, great service and beautiful setting in their beer garden. We then went inside for a few drinks and again great service. So nice to get together at last after a very trying couple of years for everyone. Well done.

Friends get together

Friendly welcome and service as always! 
Comfortable and clean little room (I was out with friends most of the time and so booked a small room) Good range of choices for breakfast with plenty of fresh coffee
Bar food was excellent, much of it  locally sourced, and served in the bar or the garden. Tuesday Tapas offered an interesting range of plates, but you need to book because it’s become so popular! 
And I love that I can look down the road and see the sea when I leave the building.

Home from Home

Staff were friendly, but disappointed at being charged £6.95 for 2 very small chicken wings (not that they are big anyway). Owner said due all price increases  that "was all you get". Told us she "buys them from  Holland and has them supplied by Williamson who are a big food supplier". (I've never heard of them but that means zero).
My first thought - why not buy Scottish/British?
 I said that "if this is what your supplier supplies you might need to change supplier, or at least give them feedback about quality of food" That was cheeky of me, but it is true. How can suppliers sort issues if not told?
My comment was dismissed with a stutter. I suggested buying from Aldi or Lidl as they use british suppliers and has Red Tractor logo. Owner - "you don't know where their stuff comes from".  My thought to myself was - it's obviously a lot closer than Holland and they support british suppliers.
I hasten to add we did not get charged for chicken wings, which was considerate of her, but owners attitude regarding the complaint wasn't the best.
Told soup was Broccoli, which was great, then discovered it included Stilton - just as well none of us were allergic to cheese!
The curry was misleading too.  Was told what the special was but I thought I was ordering 'normal' chicken curry off the usual menu, but turns out I was given the special curry.  Thankfully I'd only ordered a small portion. It was okay but not what I was expecting.
Overall expensive for what the food was but appreciate prices have all increased.
