From Highspeed trainstation by subway on Line 2  two stops, change at Gulou to Line1, another two stops and get off at Jiangxia Bridge East on exit C, walk to the traffic light and on your right you'll see this newly renovated Hotel named now "Hotel Holiyacht Kylie".
This hotel is relatively centrally located and offers a very good accommodation: Very clean, great breakfast, also dinner if you want. You will enjoy your stay - we did.

Very pleasant hotel, con really be recommended!

Clean and spacious room. Large and tasty breakfast. The room is not crowded, which is rare in China. A comfortable soft bed. There is a bathroom. The room is cleaned properly. The view from the window is open. Next to it is a Starbucks.

It's a good hotel.

It's a clean, bright room, there's a bathroom, there's milk and cookies in the evenings, there's fresh English newspapers every day, the staff speaks English, great breakfast, great selection, delicious coffee.

Stay here for almost all my Ningbo business trips, rooms are quite standard, but staffs are always friendly. One thing I noticed though was that air conditioning seems to be centralized controlled by the hotel floor instead of the thermometer in the room, not sure if they ever upgraded that, didn't bother me much though

Great Value

The hotel shows its age both outside and inside from the reception continuing with the elevators, the rooms and especially the bathroom, equipped with a bathtub with a tent and a fixed blowtorch on the wall, equipped with all the accessories.

Date of issue

This was my second one-night stay in this hotel, albeit 3 years apart. It remains a comfortable and pleasant hotel, if not the newest, with a central location that is good for the many restaurants and bars in town, although the famous O'Reilly's Pub is 5-minutes' walk away. The rooms have toiletries and wired wi-fi (not in the same place, of course), bu the bathroom was definitely 3*. The breakfast is very good, offering a wide choice of local and international fare (even dessert cake, oddly). Parking outside is very limited and the attendant is discerning. Ningbo has many other big-name hotels now, but this remains a good choice.

Pleasant City-Centre Hotel

Better than average budget hotel in good location on the same block as Sheraton... busy local scene for exploring... a Starbucks down the street beside Sheraton... same street has an excellent Irish pub (open late, maybe 2am) and ample simple Chinese restaurants nearby! Rooms OK and friendly staff.

better Than Average But Good Location

I stayed for 4 nights in this hotel in Ninbo for work reasons in April 2012. The hotel is located in a central area of the city. It is a valid and good quality hotel in the standard of the chain. It has 2 restaurants (one Chinese and one Japanese), a good business center and spa (currently under renovation). Clean rooms and efficient staff even though in an international hotel of this category few staff speak English and it is difficult to make themselves understood especially at the restaurant.

Good value for money

If you've been to China many times and know the province well, the Best Western Ningbo is an acceptable establishment. You should be proud of the lightweight and partly folding furniture. The cleanliness is certainly not to be disputed. The hotel restaurant is good, but the choice for breakfast is not very extensive. The distinction between non-smoking and smoking rooms is difficult to make in practice.

Acceptable

Unlike its cross town rival Howard Johnson who reinvented itself into a 5-star hotel, this Best Western is exactly like a 2- or 3- star American motel.  The hotel room is small and dingy.  The LCD TV is a size of a laptop screen.  The room price contains 2 free breakfasts.  But the hotel won't give it to me because I checked in by myself.  When my friend joined me for the breakfast, he was asked to pay for It.  I saw similar compaints from other guests on Ctrip.  I want to point it out because it never happen to me in any other hotels.  Besides, it is not cheap either with its quality.  You can certainly find a better deal in aonther local 4-star hotels with the same price.
