Definitely the right solution if you stay in Koblenz solo or as a couple. Very efficient communication with owners. Large apartment with kitchen, dining room, large bedroom and toilet. Clean and perfectly furnished. All very new. Perfectly positioned downtown to visit all key places, conveniently. If any cons is the absence of the elevator, but just minor issue. Definitely would use it again if in town. Garage is 5' nearby, open h24

Excellent stay in downtown Koblenz

We stayed for three nights in the boarding house in Koblenz's Old Town and were more than satisfied. We knew there was no elevator, so it was not a problem to climb the stairs up to the fourth floor, because it was worth it. The apartment was quite large and had everything you needed. Kitchen with dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. The cleanliness was very good, there's nothing to blame here.

It's a nice, comfortable apartment.

Nice apartment in the middle of the pedestrian zone, central but absolutely quiet with nice balcony. Much better than many hotels; bakeries and cafes for breakfast are around the corner, whoever else likes to sit in the kitchen. The best ice cream parks in the city are not 5 minutes away and the sights are also nearby. Parking house in this corner is also cheaper than elsewhere in Koblenz. All in all, a brilliant place to make a vacation, we would love to come back.

The perfect night's sleep

Awesome apartment Clean beautifully designed .everything catered for and a reasonable price.Sometimes it's good for a change not to stay in a hotel

Unfortunately taxi driver lied to us saying he knew where it was so we had about a 15 min walk with suitcases. It's not to easy to find But Google maps finds it quite easily

Holiday

The apartment is very spacious and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the rooms are not separated by doors but open. The bathroom is very small in comparison to the other rooms but useful. The description of the apartment does not mention that it is on the third floor and some stairs are to be handled. One downside was that the WiFi did not work properly.

Enough for one weekend

This holiday apartment is located very centrally in the old town of Koblenz - all the sights are within walking distance. Our apartment was tastefully furnished and very generous. Although the location is so central, it was very quiet. The handling of the keyboxes or the pawnshop went smoothly. We are happy to come back!

Great accommodation in the old town.

Our apartment was very beautiful and modernly decorated. The boarding house is well located in the center. What was very disturbing, however, was that the apartment was opposite the laundry room and there was work there every day. The door in between was bright.

Central and beautiful!

We stayed here last weekend.  While we were very happy with our room, finding this boarding house is a little difficult as it is hidden in a small alley off Altengraben in the old town.  There is no vehicle access, and parking is difficult for baggage drop off.  There are several city carparks close by but you will have to pay for the privilege of using them.

The room was very clean and tidy and newly updated.  The shower and bathroom were good, and the kitchen adequately stocked for cooking some meals.

There are two disadvantages with this property.  The first is that it does not have a lift (elevator for any US readers), and our room was on the fourth floor.  Carting two heavy suitcases up the stairs did for my dicky back leading to me to have a pretty miserable time in Koblenz!  The second disadvantage is that there are several VERY noisy bars and takeaway food outlets within a stone's throw of the front of the building.  On the Friday night the noise went on until about 8.30am on Saturday morning, while on the Sunday night it was still noisy about 3am on Monday morning.

If you are young and fit or old like me but with light bags, and have some good earplugs, this is a good central location to stay.  If you are none of the above you might want to consider somewhere else.

Very Central Location

Not my favorite.  The WiFi didn't work so we told the manager and she promised to look into it but 4 days pass and still no Internet. 
Kutcher ok and great location but poor quality bed and pillows

Holiday 

We had apartment 41  which is on the top floor (fourth).
Generally apartments appear to be on floors 2, 3 and 4, reached by a long climb up the stairs.    Only an issue if (like us)   you have heavy luggage and a partner who was struggling with steps at present.

However,  the apartment itself was lovely -  clearly recently refurbished at IKEA and very clean.

THREE things that prospective visitors should note.
- the accommodation isn't staffed,  and we thought we'd arranged a time to meet the owner to collect our key.  However,  after half-an-hour a passer by kindly directed us to the nearby jewellery shop, where the key was held.   A simple note on the front door describing this arrangement would resolve this issue. (there IS a note about using the 'Keydrop' process to collect keys late at night,  so only needs a couple more sentences!)
- the lack of any kind of lift.  Not much can be done about this,  so just something to be aware of
- lack of working Wifi.  The wifi signal is very intermittent  and incredibly slow.  Most websites time-out before providing a response.   A shame, as resorting to Starbucks for coffee nearby, and the internet service was superb.

However,  if stairs and wifi aren't a problem for you, then this is a great location,  right in the centre of town -  great bars and eating places all around, and less than 5 mins walk from the station
