This villa badly needs attention and that too at the right places, it was our worst ever nightmare to be here, the bad experience started as soon as we reached there, we were confirmed an early check-in, however on arrival we had to wait outside in the sun for the rooms as they still had guests staying in them. After check-in we realized even basic amenities like water bottles in the room are missing, AC’s, bathroom flushes not working, and the list just goes on. Unlike other villas here on asking for anything you only get excuses. Talking about the staff there is only 1 elderly gentleman who is expected to do everything from being a porter (to get luggage from outside the road to inside which is easily some meters), to housekeeping cleaner to guest service, etc. They call themselves a luxury villa however even a self-service Motel might still give you a better experience than this one. I am regretting to have chosen this Villa for our vacation and am sharing this review only to save others from a similar experience.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Horrifying experience at LHP Suite Villa La Giara! 
As soon as we entered, the villa wasn’t clean or ready for us to check in. We had seen all the trash, dirty beds and bathrooms from the previous tenants of the Villa.
We were made to wait while they attempted to clean to the villa. 
When we returned the bathrooms were smelling terribly, there were dirty towels. 
They refused to provide us with basic amenities such as water. 
When we tried to use the gym, none of the equipment’s were working and was left in a horrible condition. 
The photos on the internet is completely different from the reality of the Villa. 
DO NOT STAY HERE. Your entire experience in Capri will be ruined.

Horrifying experience at LHP Suite Villa La Giara!

Lift was broken and had  four flights of stairs. I have a foot injury. I booked hotel as required easy access.  Advised this was not acceptable but they did not care. said if I wanted to shift pay another €150 per night . We stayed 4 nights and lift was not  working the whole stay. Apartment not clean 4 towels for 5 people. Only after complaining did I get more. Miserable stay. Only good part is the area, but you can find way better accommodation than this. Worst experiences ever… when I asked if we could get a refund as I paid in full they refused. Beds were very uncomfortable. Wifi is hopeless only works in one room

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!!

We've stayed on Ripetta street apartments. Nicely decorated, spacious, fully renovated. I would like to thank Renato and Especially Francesco (reception) for the great communication and cooperation. They have been great. BUT the apartments were very-very dirty as from the check in. Hair & dust on the floor, the bed linen were dirty also, not to mention what was under the bed... i've sent e-mail and Renato to sent someone to clean and he did. but again it seems that they did not use the vacuum because they have just did mopping. nothing has been cleaned properly... i've asked for a quilt for childrens bed, but again nothing. anyway.. in general a nice place but with cleaning issues. 

Lovely decorated apartments but.... 

It is walking distance to the train . We waited 15mins for someone to come open the door. The apartment was suitable for 3 people with two washroom . The  neighbor hood seemed sketchy. Buono viaggio!!!

If have never been to Rome/Europe then this will be very surprising. The apartment is situated very close to Piazza Del Popolo square. Just a side street from the square. You have to go through a large door then to the 3rd floor. There is a very very small timber door lift which is amusing. There are 2 apartments through one door. The other apartments in the same building on the same floor and other floors looked like were owned by locals. The apartment looks similar to the inside pics on the internet but on the internet the pics are of the larger apartment which is the one I thought we were getting. We got the smaller one however. One person to sleep downstairs on the foldout couch with queen bed upstairs. Beds were not very comfortable for us. There are toilets and bathrooms upstairs and downstairs both nice and clean. There is a kitchen which may have been a shared kitchen but our neighbours didn’t use it so we used the fridge and the washing machine. Dishes pots and pans we dirty. We had to wash the dishes thoroughly before using them. The kettle was also dirty. There was a storage room just outside the door of the apartment which had a bad smell. 
We stayed for 5 nights over New Year’s Day so was a little noisy when occupants next door come and go.
Also note if you are a non smoker there are cigarettes smokers everywhere in Rome city it seems. But it was uncomfortable when our next door occupants smoked in the communal foyer. We could smell smoke downstairs then. 
Apart from the type of apartment and entrance to the location it was ok and central to one of the main hubs - piazza del popolo. Near supermarket  shops taxis and walking distance to all attractions.  The actual hotel LHP reception is 10 mins walk from the suite. I would  go to reception first and not go to the apartment first in my opinion unless you have called them to meet you there. Especially if arriving at night I was a little uneasy. 
Bottom line the location is great if you don’t mind the style of the apartment. Definitely nothing like the apartments in Australia. 
The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful. 


Ok I guess

The hotel is situated near Piazza del Popolo. We had a quadruple room with a private bathroom. The room was spacious, very clean, we had a tv, kettle and tea was also provided in the room although we did not have any breakfast. There are also lots of restaurants close by. The hostess was very nice and helpful, upon arrival she gave us a map and directions to main attractions. She even gave us a contact number just in case we need anything else! I definitely recommend this hotel.
