It's a very modest, very economical, but very clean, neat hotel, with a great swimming pool, very convenient because it's 200 meters to the beach, in the middle of the hump, from all sides, cafes and restaurants, bars, shops. Very good staff, all at a great level.

Apparently a lot of people don't get too bad at this hotel, but our experience was terrible: We meet in another hotel. - Wi-Fi doesn't reach every room. - We were in two different rooms.) - It's dirty. - There are no tools needed to cook. - There are no mantas, you have to beg to give them to you. - No English speakers, only the boss even though they try to help you. - If you want to talk to the boss you have to call his mobile because he's never there. - We found a cockroach in the closet, several insects and the humidity has created a Picasso. + We have to thank the boss for the treatment because luckily he returned all the money to us.

Myself and a friend stayed here for 1 night in early July of this year. We booked it via booking.com app and were advised that we would pay at the hotel when we got there. We only paid 28 euros for the night there for 2 of us. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner of the next door restaurant who was very friendly and helpful. He called the reception and informed us that our room was not yet ready. We waited by the pool until 2pm when we were told we could check in. At 2pm we were left standing for 25 minutes at an empty pool bar and found it difficult to identify who was staff at the apartments. There was no reception, only a hut. When we eventually got seen to, the man did not speak a word of English which made it very difficult to communicate. He took us to our apartment which was basic but clean. It was very spacious and had everything which we required, including air con in the bedroom. It had 2 balconies which were very spacious. We were very pleased with this. The only complain I have was that the door had a faulty lock. We got somebody to look at it and managed to temporarily fix it but it took us a good 10 minutes of twisting, turning and pushing the door each time we wanted to get in. Location of the apartments were great, close to everything. Pool was a nice size. Restaurant next door was great, good food and well priced. I would recommend this apartment and would stay there again as it is good value for money.

Still staying and i havent seen anything bad.everything is perfect.especially staff and the old man in the restaurant :) prices in the restaurant are good.you dont need to search anymore.you have found the place you will stay...

Awesome!!!

I went to Captain with my sister and mom. It's a really cool place. Close to shops and nightlife. Staff was nice. At some point we had trouble with our AC. they were very attentive. they took care of it very quickly. Rooms were clean. You get a good deal for the price you pay. it is also very close to Bodrum center. there is a minibus which you can catch steps away from the hotel.

Great location & staff...

I stayed at this hotel in 2011 & 2010. Both times I went with a group of girls aged between 19 - 24. This is a Twenty's clubbers hotel and has a club rep visit a few times a week. The rooms are beautifully basic but on a girls holiday they have everything you need. Spacious, clean, enough spaces for everyone to crash. Location is great, just a short walk to the strip and beach. Perfect mix of being far enough away that its quiet in the evenings and close enough that you would not even consider a taxi!

Last year they opened their restaurant at the front of the hotel, food is great and if there's not something on the menu, just ask! I had pancakes made for me most mornings.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Gumbet!

Great hotel, great staff, great time <3 Perfect for young party people

Stayed here with a friend in October and loved it!Staff were friendly and helpful.Easy to talk to.We didnt always eat at the hotel only a few times but when leaving the hotel,no hostliaty to the fact we were going elsewhere or anything like that,no attitude change towards us they were the same when we came back.
  Rooms were a good size.Not the best conditon but for the price couldnt complain and were very well cleaned by the maids there.Shower and the curtain was a bit random but hardly a big deal at the end of it.
  The fines for little things,can understand the reasoning behind them.Not so much the price of the fines mind.
  And Gumbet itself was lovley,very friendly people and lot of nice places to go .Location of the hotel made everything so much easier as well.
   All in all great hoilday.Thanks guys!
