Spacious, very clean and well appointed chalet. We are 3 adults and stayed in a room which could sleep six. The bathroom and kitchen areas were of a high standard and the separate dining and lounge area were comfortable. The chalet is situated a short walk from the town centre and is well served by a free bus service which is a couple of minutes walk from the chalet. There is also off road parking in front of the chalet.

For us it was a perfect stay which was helped further by Evelyn - nothing was too much trouble and her English is first class.

We will definitely stay here again the next time we ski in the Arlberg.

Wonderful Experience

Well, it's a pity, actually. So you call, you make it like you're booking your vacation there, you ask if everything's ready and you rely on it = you cancel all the other reservations. You write an email, with all the emergency data and it's good -- actually. Four hours later the email says you don't have a room. Another customer stays longer. But why was the vacation put online when he still had to decide? It was a pity.

Due to road closures we had to stay 2 nights in Lech am Arlberg. With good luck we were able to find accommodation in the chalet Snow Crystal. I have very rarely experienced such warm and kind hospitality. Our apartment was also one of the finest. I can warmly recommend it without exaggerating any Arlberg vacationer. Thank you very much for this great hospitality!!

More than recommended!!

Our party of four enjoyed our stay at the Schneekristall while in Lech.  The price can't be beat, the rooms were clean and well appointed with beautiful views of the mountains. It's a short walk to the heart of Lech and conveniently located near a bus stop that runs about every 10 minutes.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, helping answer our random questions about Lech and making reservations for various meals.  They even helped stock us up on delicious fresh bread each and every morning.  A real treat! 

If we had one criticism it was the reliability of the Internet.  Access was limited and intermittent most days.  It was completely unreliable, which made planning day trips, catching up on work, or researching restaurants and making reservations almost impossible.  The Hotel really needs to upgrade their equipment or Internet service provider.

Fantastic find in Lech

The rooms are well equipped and tidy. It is cleaned every day. Breakfast is great, also nicely arranged. The owner is always ready to help and always strives! The location is a little further away from the shot but the bus leaves right in front of the door!

Such a nice house!

Our party of 4 adults stayed in Schneekristall in Feb 2017. We booked a 2 bed apartment, which slept 6 people in total (1 double, 1 twin, 1 double sofa bed). From arrival to departure we had a great time. Evelyn and Reinhardt (owners and managers) were friendly and helpful and never had "No" for an answer. Breakfast was great (fresh pastries, fresh fruit salad, meats, cheeses, cereals, juices etc.).  Our apartment was immaculatey clean, comfortable, spacious and serviced daily, and the shared facilities were to a very high standard (sauna, steam room, tropical shower, ski/boot room). There were beautiful mountain views from our lower ground floor room, and the nearest chair lift was less than a 5 minute walk, and from the top of that lift you can ski directly into Lech centre & main lifts.  The centre of Lech is only about a 10 minute walk, or a very short (and free) bus ride away.  We used the buses a few times (the nearest stop is a 1 minute walk) - they were frequent and fast.  Schneekristall does not offer a dinner restaurant service so you will have to go elsewhere for that.  This was not a problem for us, but if you are travelling with young children you may need to plan for this.  And there are plenty of nearby options for evening food.  Would stay again, and would recommend without hesitation to travellers with similar needs.

Great location; clean, comfortable & spacious rooms; friendly host family.

For an extended weekend, we were looking for an adequate accommodation that would allow us some autonomy close to the centre. In the snow crystal we quickly found our suitable home. The hostess welcomed us with the same attention and kindness as it should have been during the entire stay. The apartments are modern and bright, generous in space and: clean and well maintained! We chose the breakfast option, which is served by means of a wide buffet and can be saturated in an exciting way during the day. To add to the surprise, here is the winding cappuccino, which is made from a new - we hear - bought professional machine. We have seen Rekek and therefore we can only feel that we will be able to get out of the door of the park.

Great room supply in the apartments, coupled with kindness and good service.

This was a late booking for us, but everything about the Schneekristall apartments was excellent.  Just a 10 minute stroll into the main town of Lech this is ideally situated with a bus stop straight outside to get the free bus down to the lifts when all kitted up in ski gear.

The apartment itself was very spacious with a well equipped kitchen/living area.  Both bedrooms were a good size and there was loads of storage space for all our gear.

We took advantage of being able to order bread for breakfast from the local bakery, by filling in a form at reception, for door to door delivery - very nice!

The sauna area was a nice facility to have too.

Great accommodation in a great location, so  much so we've booked again for next year!

Ski Holiday 2016

Very Clean, nice and friendly staff, good breakfast, location close to the center, buses to lifts every 10 minutes, Lech very nice village. The wifi could be stronger. Kitchen in the room was very useful, even a dishwasher and espresso machine (pods)
