It's incredibly beautiful, superb location and excellent service. We were there with a group of 13 friends and were able to relax perfectly. The chalet is right across the street from a station, so you can get to the track quickly.

Great chalet with excellent service

We booked this Chalet for a 5 day break whilst visiting our daughter. The chalet is absolutely superb. All the fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality and everything was immaculately clean. Mark our host could not have been any more helpful wether it was bringing breakfast to the room, sorting out taxis or recommending places to eat. He had it all covered and nothing was too much trouble.
The Chalet is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the centre of Lech and if you wanted to take the bus it was just outside the Chalet.
Lots of wonderful small touches, rocking chairs with sheepskins on the patio and a wonderfully well stocked fridge with good quality wines and champagnes at very fair prices. Looking forward to returning.

Couldn't have been better!

This family-run chalet is a wonderful spot for skiers.  The free ski bus stops just steps down the street and it's possible (for an intermediate skier) to ski to a chalet across the street and then walk down their driveway back to Chalet Verwall.  There is also a nice ski changing/storage room with a heated boot rack.

It's a short walk to town, although you wouldn't want to do it in ski boots.  We actually liked being this short distance from town and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the chalet.

The service at this chalet is outstanding.  Mark and Melanie are superb innkeepers.  The entire hotel is spotlessly clean.  The rooms are comfortable and the kitchens are equipped nicely.

Mark will deliver hot, homemade bread with your breakfast (it's organic and amazing) or can cook a delightful evening meal for you.  In fact, he is happy to help you in any way, helping organize the retrieval of lost luggage, stocking your room with groceries, making restaurant recommendations and anything else you might need to make your stay excellent.

We were delighted with our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this chalet.

Every Place in Lech is Nice - The Service Here Shines

Very nice apartment hotel, clean, tidy. Very close to a bus stop bringing you til/from city center/ski lifts.
The host is very helpful and trustworthy. His restaurant recommendations gave us some very unique experiences! We were a group of 6. We would recommend booking directly.

Exceptional service

Edles Chalet in a very upscale style. The Chalet Verwall is also ideal for families with children. The bus stop is in front of the house and the wheelchair is only a few minutes' walk away. This is of course very much to our children's liking.

Secret tip in leach

We found the Verwall after an exhausting internet search, we were not aware of that the whole town was pretty much sold out due to Carneval vacations in Germany.  The chalet is located close to the Oberstubenbach area of town.  Walking paths lead straight from the Chalet, highly recommended for picture taking moments,  It is the view of Lech that most people do not get to see, the one that is on all the postcards of town.  The chalet itself is nice, modern and clean in the Tyrolean style.  Our luggage was delayed in Zurich airport and the manager was very helpful in assisting the retrieval.  He suggested many excursions and such.  The rooms are nice and come equipped with stove,, dishwasher, sink, fridge etc.  A nice option for families and groups, it does afford the guest the possibilities of taking a break from the restaurants in town.  It is slightly out of the town center, about a ten minute walk at leisurely pace.  I always consider the Hotel Krone the center of town, probably because it has the liveliest apres ski bar in town.  All in all our stay at the Verwall was a positive one.

Unique stay in a romantic setting

If you ever desire to experience the high pleasures of travelling to amazing places, where the location and accommodation exceed your expectations, then I can recommend the Chalet Verwall in Lech, Austria.  
We visited Chalet Verwall over Christmas, with my family, including two teenage boys, my cousin and wife, and my adult niece.  It was the first time all three groups had been together on a holiday, so it was awkward new ground for us all.  With great fortune this place had been selected by my cousin, and it exceeded our expectations, not just in the appointment of the place, but more importantly, into the welcome and friendship that the team who run the accommodation showed us. 
Lech is an amazing picturesque village nestled in the Austrian Alps, in winter surrounded by numerous spectacular long ski runs, with the valley positioned in such a rare way that it affords the sun the opportunity in winter to warm its heart.  The friendly atmosphere of the village was exceeded by the hospitality that our hosts offered us.  Their welcoming smiles and friendly banter, the detail of how well the place was presented, not only in the quality of its physical detailing, but also in cleanliness and other surprising touches, such as items stocked was exceptional.  When we had problems our hosts were so happy to assist us, with advice, and even assistance to deal with an unusual issue we had – far beyond what would be expected.  They made us feel at home in this luxury mansion. 
 
So for a touch of the high life, this is one of my favourite places in the world.

Higest Commendation for an Amazing Place to Stay‏

Edles chalet in the upscale rustic style, actually it's an apartment house, but the house also offers breakfast and everything you want. Very good location (skibus almost in front of the house), own ski cottage, sauna, very friendly staff, Mr. Jagschitz helps you with everything, room top maintained, we felt very comfortable (also because the wine supply is very satisfactory)

Nice days in Lech

We, a group of 6 people, had a wonderful weekend in Chalet Verwall in March 2012. We booked an apartment for 6 people and were absolutely enthusiastic about the accommodation. The style of the chalet can be described as modern-rustic. The whole chalet is characterized by the highest cleanliness. Our booked apartment was very large, modern but very comfortable and had a facility that did not leave any wishes open. Our apartment also had a spacious apartment as well as a comfortable living room, which we had extensively discussed. We were very enthusiastic about the existing steam bath and sauna.
