Saw this place online and looked just our sort of thing, so visited.
Was a bit gutted the music was all pop like sugar babes and girls aloud , we felt sure it would be American and British rock type stuff ! Maybe even a juke box ?
Had some beers.  All fine but not as expected.  

American rock style bar but music doesn’t match!

Good location, the bar is cool and the staff is friendly enough, but the hostel part is atrocious. Springs poking through the mattresses,  the hallways smelled like piss, the bathroom had mold in it's ceiling and a smell that made me gag, and it had no lock, they ran out of breakfast in the morning,  no reading lamps for the beds, and I think I may have gotten bitten by fleas or something. Don't be tempted to stay here by the location and price, just check out the bar. Only positive about the accommodation is that it was so bad that it motivated you to get up early and explore the city because you didn't want to be there.

Coll pub but atrocious hostel.

I checked into this what I would call a dump. I was allocated a bed and upon my return at 1 in the morning found a large guy sleeping in what I thought was my bunk.

He argued it was allocated also to him and there is nobody present until 8am. I had to leave and walk the streets. I had the manners to return back with the Card Key and locker key, however the woman in charge tried to remove the blame from her and refusing to issue a refund.

Complete disgrace, I’ve had to get my credit card company involved.

In my option avoid like the plague !

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Basic accommodation - but that suited my trip just fine; I needed a bed for the night, and then I was out all day. I booked a private room - it had a bed, a sink... the concrete floor was a surprise, but at least it was glossy. Windows seemed a little poor re: security; there was an odd clicking coming from the corridor all night - think it was a light sensor. Other than that, fine. You're at the whim of other guests re: noise at night time and the loos/showers are near the private rooms (or at least a couple of them). Staff were great and things were cleaned every day (loos, hallways, etc.); the bar was ok, though there are many other bars to choose from too. Would I stay again? Maybe. Would I bring family to stay? Not here. But then it's a backpackers hostel and aimed at people half my age. It's good to have the choice, in Bruges, though.

Great atmosphere for a drink and a game
Of poo! We loved it. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We enjoyed drinks; pool and table football: we were a family group but felt more than welcome here: we didn’t stay overnight just visited for drinks in the evening.

Staff is top class!! And great bands that perform! I book every weekend a room and its always a pleasure to see a great performance,  drink beers and get drunk. Nancy, Sandra, Witse, Rebecca, Karel (the owner) deliver always a perfect service. Basic, but straight from the hart!!!👍👍💋💋

It's a hostel for traveller's and you get a clean bed hot shower and the wifi is good.

Plenty of plug sockets for charging my essentials...

And there is a Great Italian restaurant next door.

Perfect if your traveling totally worth it.

Don't stay here! No breakfast even if booking mentionned it and was included in the price!
No towel no soap no shampoo, the sheets were a little dirty and no sheets to put under the blanket and i m sure they don t wash it after every customer!!
You have to be there at 00h50 because They close the door, if not, you will sleep at the street. 
The room looks dirty no cleaning after the first day (we stayed for two nights),
And the most horrible thing is the pruritus my husband had with bedbugs marks on him the next day and it woked him up at six am..
But the Pub and bar downstairs is really nice with good music and the prices are good.

It's a TRAP!!

Location of the hostel is great. However, rooms are very noisy and not that clean. Pillows and the bed were very uncomfortable. Staff started hovering at 08:00 in the morning. Staff could be a bit more friendly during check-in and check-out and should be able to give some information about the city center..

Awful place - avoid. Pool tables, pinball machines and no staff. Waited ten minutes at bar - no staff. Barmaid turns up and serves another group who had just arrived. Very poor !! Then a barrel had to be changed another ten minutes.
