Clifton Beach Lodge Apartments was a convenient location close to the Twelve Apostles, didn’t see a beach but nestled in the country. Nice to look out and see green grass and trees and hear the sound of birds.The accommodation had all amenities although all we needed was a comfortable bed and it had that. Our “apartment” or rather wooden cottage could sleep six but we only needed and used one bed in one room. The downside was that there was no milk for that cup of tea we craved. Also some knocking wood kept us awake during the night. We never met our hostess but she sounded helpful on messaging.

Great location to stay near the Twelve Apostles

Really comfortable and relaxed while staying hear, love it. Will come back when come to Australia 🇦🇺 Nice BBQ place and table tennis court 😂 absolutely decent place for family. However, pretty dark outside. Came in middle of July,2019

One night stay

Such a quiet place! We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. It was lovely!! Lots of kangaroos on the hills and fields next door, we were able to see them from the kitchen window, it was fantastic!! And close to the twelve apostles, london bridge, lord ard gorge and a few towns/supermarkets/restaurants (not walking distance though).

This accommodation was a little bit of paradise. It is so close to the 12 Apostles and is easy to find. Amazingly clean and quiet with plenty of room for families. Beautiful surrounds. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, large living and dining area. 

Wonderful Location near 12 Apostles

A great comfy overnight stay during our Ocean Road trip. Our accommodation was only 4 mins to 12 Apostles. It was very handy for us to return and capture beautiful sunset pictures of the 12 Apostles. A short drive to Port Campbell for a lovely dinner. We were so glad to make a last minute plan to stay here for a night before we head back to our Torquay resort. Highly recommended for overnight stay!

Comfy overnight stay

Stayed overnight when doing the great ocean road.
Everything you need.
Clean cosy well equipped cottage. Fantastic views just minutes from the 12 Apostles.
Comfy beds couldn't ask for more. 
Shots drive to Port Campbell for dinner. Supermarket there if you'd rather cook your own.


Cosy Cottage

Simple small cottage (Gibson's cottage) which was fine for both of us. Nice lounge area, good shower, good location close to the 12 apostles & Gibson's beach. Nearby Princetown had a nice pub with meals. Great little place and would stay here again

Great spot to stay for a night to break up the GOR trip!

Stayed 2 nights in Loch Ard lodge, it had 2 bedrooms with a queen and single bed. The bathroom has a nice heater switch to keep warm while showering. The self-check in was simple enough but we somehow couldn't get the main door to lock properly. Nevertheless, the lodge had all the basic things we needed for our stay. We could prepare our meals after getting supplies from Port Campbell, the nearest town. Though it is just off the main road, there is not much traffic noise. Big advantage to be staying so close to all the key attractions like Gibson Steps and London Bridge, not just the Twelve Apostles. 

No frills lodge near 12 Apostles

We wanted to have a relaxing vacation along with kids and this is the best place to stay on GOR and very near to 12 Apostles. We stayed in 2 bed cabin and it is very spacious and comfortable. 
Verandah is great and you can just watch greenery around without moving away from cabin.
Kids can play in backyard or families can have a picnic not far away from the room.
Cabin has basic utilities for cooking which was very useful.
Refrigerator & microwave are also available along with hot plate. 
Basic TV is available.
There is no Wi-Fi and mobile signal is very weak in the cabin.

Blankets and comforters are clean and plenty. Bed is comfortable. 
Out side bbq facility is available.

It is a great place to stay and explore places around 12 Apostles and as it is just 2kms away, it is easy to catch sun rise and sun set.

Great place

There is nothing fancy about this place.  It is a series of cabins that have all the basic amenities, located just two kilometers away from the Twelve Apostles.  For a family of five, the Latrobe Cabin worked perfectly, and we used it as a base to go to Port Campbell for dinner.   Everything is well signed and finding the place was not difficult.
