Good location right next to the train station. 
A bar is available, clean but a bit "grubby".   
The room was very stale, quite noisy in the hallway all night and clearly overpriced.
The staff barely speaks English and was quite unfriendly. in my opinion. 
I was not sure whether I was in Switzerland or Romania.
Maybe OK to drink a few beers but not recommended as a hotel / motel.
As a tip for the owners; a dress code would leave a more professional impression, blue jeans, old shoes and washed out tshirts are not appealing at all...

not to be recommended...

In February of this year, I had to book a short-term accommodation in Schaffhausen. The price-performance ratio is very poor - in Zurich I get a normal hotel room for this price. The room was clean, everything in general looks good, but the whole building is very low, and we are in urgent need of renovation. The hostess, named after a Romanian woman, is visibly overwhelmed by the hotel's hotel and reception. Unfortunately, there is always a disadvantage if neither the hotel nor the bartending know about it. In the pub it is loud and the level of guests is not too high :) Plus point but there is a possibility for short-term booking.

Poor price performance ratio

The rooms weren't built, of course we were early, but we were given the keys anyway... it smells weird all over the building.

Too expensive

Don't go to this hotel especially because it's very noisy music and the conversations in the pub on the ground floor keep you from sleeping any more it's mentioned at CHF 75 in ebooks and when you call they tell you at CHF 125 after negotiations you get it at CHF 90 and then the surprises continue without you being told, because there's no TV in the room, showers and toilets are upstairs, only one electrical outlet in the room, you hear everything the neighbor does in the next room finally we've got a scam.

Visiting the Rhine Falls

The bakery is located right at the train station. The pub is very spacious and clean, but very sparsely furnished: only two beds, shower towels and a canister. The toilet and shower are available along the way with several other guests, although the room is quite expensive for 130 guests. This is the bar: you can hear the bar and the sound of Jopphausen's house. I won't forget the next room in the Orphanage.

It's too expensive to buy.

Booking via website on May 5th for August 11th, confirmation received by mail, several messages on combox and telephone conversations to confirm our arrival. In the end, the reserved rooms were not available, no traces of our reservation ! Not professional at all. Impression of an Hotel very badly managed, looking neglected and dirty.

Do not go to this hotel !

We had booked a month ago due to the high demand for 'Stars' in Town. But on the day of arrival the booking stopped suddenly... we were told that the previous owners had taken all the reservations away. The alleged boss didn't even want to talk to us or offer alternative solutions. The employee's suggestion was: ask them at the four star hotel next door. Customer friendliness is definitely different! The next time we are in Schaffhausen, we will definitely not consider this house anymore!

Despite the reservation no room

Very nice staff, unfortunately a little crowded, the original room was not ready, which was immediately resolved (can happen, no point of departure). The new room was unfortunately not clean, the dust was under the bed for several months. Also no interference and extremely loud (music from the pub/street/train station).

Improved

Weird. Owner comes into your room and wakes you up twice in the middle of the night with the credit card machine asking you to pay right now because he's going to sleep until 11 AM and reception will be closed. Never saw anything like this. Unacceptable! Room and shower were ok though. Skip this "hotel" and go somewhere else, it will be more expensive but you'll be able to spend your night without being disturbed.

To avoid

We're woken up at 3:00 and 3:15 by the owner of the hotel backpack to pay for it, he's got the card machine, dream or reality, we threatened to call the police, it's hard to go to sleep peacefully...
