We chose this particular property due to its facilities on offer. We arrived and noted that the place did seem a little unkempt and really not like the pictures on booking.com and their own web page, but hearing from the owner that she was a web designer we understood why.
We were greeted given a iced tea and completed the booking in process along with being asked at the time for full payment, we had booked 5 nights as it sounded so good and duly handed over over $100. 
It was then that we were told that there was a staff shortage, so no Fusion Cafe, if we wanted we could order food to be delivered from another restaurant across the road.
Also there was to be a limited bar.
We were shown to our cabin that was a triple bed with private bathroom, and a kitchenette with hob, & kettle, this was why we had booked this particular property we were very much looking forward to cooking some different food, as we had been travelling for over two months.
There was a hob and a kettle, no cups plates pans cutlery, nothing. I went to ask for a couple of cups so we could make a drink, I was handed two mugs, one with a large chip out of the bottom and told you can use these, I don't use them for 'guests' I wondered then just what we were If we weren't guests. The room wasn't particularly clean the water from the bathroom sink was a trickle, but to be honest I think it's like that in many places, the shower was ok. Later in the day  we decided to have a swim in the pool, my husband locked the door to our cabin, on trying to re-enter later we found ourselves locked out, we just couldn't open the door at all. The owner came and tried, and said nothing had happened like this before,  and after some time decided she needed to call a locksmith, we waited for quite a while but she did offer us a cold drink if we wanted. When the lock was changed she came to us and said that's just cost me $30 and handed us the new key. The next morning we decided to cook our breakfast and relax, so we went to ask for a pan to cook our food in, and also to hopefully get some plates and utensils etc. We were met with I'm sorry that's a special hob and I don't have a pan you can use on it. Disbelief and by now utter anger, at being misold accommodation, and being made to pay in full before being told that there were no facilities as advertised due to having no staff and the ad being incorrect on our booking site.. We then decided to just make the most of our 5 days by going out, eating out and trying to enjoying ourselves. 
The next day the owner approached us saying, she had just read her ad on booking.com and realised it was a mistake, and that the accommodation shouldn't be being advertised as having a kitchenette, and she would get that removed that day, she then offered us the use of her kitchen which we declined. This property is still being advertised as having those facilities!!!!.. 
During our five day stay we had two  very heavy rain storms, the first one which thankfully didn't last too long left water pouring through the bathroom roof through the electric socket. I spoke with the owner the next morning and made her aware of this and also that we had to move our bags etc as a small amount of rain came through the main roof area, I did say at the time we had sorted the wet areas out.
The next night it really poured down and this time we had to actually lift our mattresses up as our beds were getting soaked, as well as our belongings, at 4am we were sat on the wooded bases of the bed waiting for the rain to stop and trying to keep our beds as dry as possible. We did not report this to the owner, and she didn't ask but I believe she knows of all the problems. At this stage we wanted as little as possible to do with her, we just wanted to leave, which we did after the 5 days to another property. This property supposedly has really high reviews albeit only a handful, I really don't understand who wrote them. As I have said the property is still being miss-sold, and isn't at all like the pictures depict.

I had never stayed in a tent before so we decided that if we had to endure the cold water of Cambodia for our morning Showers, then we would do so in a glamping tent with an open roof shower!

The staff were ace, Hannah and Sam were so helpful and gave us loads of advice about places to go next! Kamala was wicked, she threw a BBQ for us before we left, and generally sat chatting with us in the bar area, whilst making sure our glasses were kept topped up! I think we went through about 4 bottles of Baileys whilst we were there.

The kittens were sweet too, cuddling up to us and then playing with each other.
I would stay again without a doubt!
