We wanted to try the experience of sleeping in a Hytte, so we booked two nights in this hotel near Aalborg. The idea of sleeping in a wooden cottage overlooking the sea made us tolerate the low level of general cleanliness. Bathrooms, heated, but poorly hygienic.

I'm sure there's better.

My bed was fine. Kitchen was unhygienic, uncleaned sinks, wet cigarettes on the kitchen table, smelly microwaves and a broken oven.

There were 3 available toilets. 
In the first one, there were human waste on the floor and instead of cleaning it up, the door was locked.
 
The second one ran out of toilet paper after 2 days and no new toilet paper were out in until after a week.

The third one had dried human waste all over inside, but was the only usable of the three.. Yikes. 

I would suggest you start cleaning you toilets at least daily instead of only doing a half-assed job once a week. It is totally unhygienic. 

Also the two available showers were full of hair from shaving resulting in a clogged drained. 

If you have other options, use those. I only lived there for 2 weeks, thank God it was not longer.

The breakfast was medium.
The room was medium.
The bathroom was good...
But it is big negative that the common room was closed after 22.00. So I can't recomend this place if this is in any way important.

3) Total lack of customer service
4) No refund even though we hadnt used any of the "facilities"

= DONT GO BUT CHOOSE INSTEAD ONE OF THE MANY HOTELS DOWNTOWN

BBBB HOSTEL AALBORG

It was really a terrible stay at BBBB hostel Aalborg for me because of burglary event happened with me. My room was on ground floor, it was early morning time (22.10.2016) around 6:30 a.m, I woke up and went to toilet. During this 5-10 minutes of toilet time some one came by opening the windows with some tools by damaging the hook of the window. When I was free from toilet and my every valuable things (My laptop, my mobile, my hand carry, cash money, travel documents, passport, identity cards, bank cards, etc) were stolen. I reported also to the police. Hotel management was too bad that they were not even giving me some Dannish korna until I borrow from some friends. Due to this mishap, I had to leave 2 days earlier from the hostel room. I am doubtful that in this event hotel management may be involved directly or indirectly. I will never suggest you to live in this hostel but I request travel agencies to kindly make this hostel in black list as soon as possible. Otherwise, any one else can also be deceived like me. If you want proof of this event I can provide you the police report also so do not hesitate to contact me.

We spent a night there in January 2011 looking for something cheap and there were few cheap things in Denmark, so we settled for this.The hostel was right, it was all ground floor and our room was for 4 people.It is about 2 km away from the city, but getting there by car was no problem.
