It was an enjoyable stay at Hotel Dedeoglu mainly due to the excellent hospitable nature of Mr Murat who kept guiding and facilitating us even on his day off. May God bless him. Location of the hotel is central and near to all the facilities a tourist is looking for.
Breakfast is super duper with a fantastic view of the sea.

Fethiye visit

Several excellent hotels line the Fetihye Marina, but what sets the Dedeoglu apart is price, humble amiability and an authentic Turkish “Hoş  Gildiniz”!.

The hotel is open year round, with 40 rooms available, 20 with marina view and 20 with view of the old town. Desk service is provided 24/7.  The rooms are small but full of light, immaculately clean, daily maid service and the bed and mattress one of the best I’ve slept in. The walk-in shower, well schemed bathroom and plenty of hot water add to the quality.

The breakfast buffet takes place on the fifth (top) floor and possesses a stunning view of the city.  Inside and outside tables are spaciously arranged.  The buffet offers a satisfying array of foods, but adding fresh fruit, fruit juices, cold water and a better offering of coffee would add give an exclamation mark.  The breakfast waiter is friendly and happy to assist you.

Finally, Hotel Dedeoglu is located 20 meters from Passport Control, so if you arrive by boat, your check-in rests 5 minutes away.  Also travel agencies just around the corner offer trips to all the many historic and recreational sites Fetihye has to offer.

My stay will last 18 days this trip, but I will be back! Location, location, location make Fetihye and the Hotel Dedeoglu, Shangri-la indeed!

Seafront Shangri-la

Spotless, super clean, with good smell room. Beautiful sea view, comfortable bed, location is very close to marina. Basic Turkish Breakfast served and sufficient. I was told the hotel is relatively new. Hope the management keeps the good quality of comfortable room. Here are the sea views from the hotel balcony 4th floor: 

Hotel with great sea view 

Hotel is ideally situated in the great little town of Fethiye. The rooms, towels and sheets were nice and clean, although the walls were a bit grubby and in need of attention, and the curtain holders kept falling apart, bed was comfortable. We had a small room, but who cares about that when you have a little balcony overlooking the marina. Its very rundown, the breakfast isn’t available till 8 (!?) and even then they didn’t seem to be ready with everything, and why, in a country that seemed to be teeming with oranges at the time of our stay, were we served some type of cordial instead of juice( they are not alone in this in Turkey I have found - is it what the locals enjoy??) Staff also seem to be suffering some kind of malaise, although never rude, just lacklustre service at the front and in the breakfast room. What a shame...because of it’s location, handy to great little shops and walk along the Marina for lots of restaurants and to set off on a boat trips, or the ferry to Rhodes, it has such potential! Perhaps the tourist money just hasn’t been there in recent years, and possibly will be driven down again with the current offensive in Syria.

Enjoyed my stay there...very clean lovely hotel with a sea view..breakfast has a phenomenal view for the marina and i loved bakeries and cheese in the morning..1min walk and you find yourself at the market..couldnt ask for more

Lovely hotel

I am here with my wife, and 4 children, ages ranging from 6 - 16. This is a very quiet, clean, and centrally located hotel in Fetiye. It overlooks the Aegean Sea Coast and is across from the Marina. We stayed here 2 days on our Trip to Turkey, and have enjoyed staying in this place. They have a good spread for breakfast, clean hallways, hallways and bathrooms. The one area of improvement for hotel would be to have more lighting in the rooms and bathrooms. I am not aware of the price as we reserved it via a Tour Planning Company.

Relaxed time with large family

Not the most imposing of buildings but right outside and overlooking the marina and our yacht it was the perfect place to  finish our sail. Adjacent to the market and nightlife of Fethiye it was both clean and tidy and also very reasonably priced. A great choice on the breakfast menu with considerate and helpful staff.

Although this hotel is a four square concrete block with nil character it has that magic ingredient, position, position, position.
All the rooms overlooking the magnificent harbour have large sliding windows and Juliet balconies.
The rooms are a good size, clean and light. The Air-Con is efficient and quiet, the en- suite spacious and to add a little home comfort, blankets and a flat screen TV.
Breakfast was more than adequate and is served on the glass sided fifth floor ( worry not there is a lift )

Make sure you choose a room overlooking the harbour and marina

We turned up at this hotel quite by chance imagining that it would be out of our price range but having talked to the manager he kindly let us have a room with breakfast for, what for us, was a reasonable cost . The view from our room is worth 
a million dollars. Good Air Con, good breakfast, comfortable beds, a lift to access higher floors. 
Wi fi not great in our room but OK in the breakfast room and lobby. View from breakfast room also stunning. Cannot believe there is better value for money in Fethiye Marina area.

What a View!

Booked a 1 night stay as we were dining in Kayakoy and the restaurant offered a free pick up service, Polite staff at check in and out, but room on the second floor facing the road and sea was very noisy from traffic until 2-30 - 3 am when it finally stopped. Maybe side rooms that do not directly face the road would be better. However room was very clean with fridge (empty) and wardrobe. Bathroom small but adequate. Breakfast on the 5th floor gave great views over the harbour. Would I stay here again - probably not only due to the noise. There is a small parking area for guest use.
