So pleased to have found this B&B as it can be difficult to find somewhere perfect
The location is ideal for exploring bath, just on the outskirts but an easy walk into town
On arriving at the property, we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who explained everything we needed to know and then informed us that he had upgraded us which was a bonus, but I’m sure all the rooms are as lovely as the one that we had.
The breakfast was amazing, relaxing, atmosphere everything you could want.
Free parking at the property is a bonus. I would definitely recommend visiting this B&B

Lovely experience

We had a vey comfortable room in the this B&B.  The staff were all very helpful.  There is a car park space for each room.  The choice for breakfast was extensive and the food was excellent.  This is our second stay at Dorian House and it won't be our last.  Many thanks

Our second lovely stay in the past six months

My wife booked us into Dorian house as a weekend getaway birthday treat.
From the moment we got there, we were warmly welcomed and the birthday card and chocolates were a lovely touch.
Our room was sumptuous and equipped with everything we needed, including a pod coffee machine. 
The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept extremely well as a result. 
Breakfast was fantastic and offered a selection, from continental options, to full English, to a number of eggs Benedict options. It was served by friendly helpful staff and was absolutely delicious. Perfectly done poached eggs and quality sausages were particularly good.
Once out and about, it was perfectly positioned to stroll down the hill into Bath, in no more than 15 minutes.

Overall, we would throughly recommended and look forward to returning.

Perfect base for our Bath adventure

We had a lovely couple of nights at the Dorian. Our room #5 was on the top floor and had restricted headroom but was comfortable enough if not a bit on the small side but well equipped, coffee, biscuits, chocolates and bathroom clean. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. Nice extra is a fridge in the lounge area for drinks with an honesty box. Walk into town is about 10-15 minutes downhill, but plenty of taxis and Uber available for journey back.

Lovely B&B, short walk from Bath

Superb 14 room boutique hotel. Great attention to detail throughout. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Bath. The walk back from town reminds you how steep the roads are, which you didn’t notice on the way down. The hotel has its own car park, which is steep at the back, and drivers need to be considerate to get everyone in. A charging point is situated on the lower level.

We stayed in room 5, which is on the top floor. As a result the headroom in parts of the room near the windows is restricted.

Breakfast service offers excellent choice of continental breakfast and cooked options. Tables are allocated in 10 minutes intervals as there are 8 tables in the orangery.

Top service and decor in lovely hotel.

We stayed at the end of February for a couple of days. A very warm reception awaited us. We were given a downstairs room with it's own access in and out of the property. The room was a pleasant surprise and very roomy. The had taken great care to make sure everything we would need was there and if we had needed anything I'm sure they would have gotten it. The breakfast menu was lovely and food served delicious. The walk back up from town is uphill however it is doable  I would highly recommend a stay.

Dorian House Boutique - what a treasure!

Great comms throughout.  We were upgraded to a Kingsize City View room with 4-poster bed and a large slipper bath in the bedroom (which was great), in addition to an excellent rainfall shower in the en-suite.  All of the staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help.  Great location for visiting Bath, especially if you enjoy a walk with hills!  (Hard to avoid in beautiful Bath).  Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Bath Stay

Although I would like to rate this hotel with a 5 star, the fact that I spent the whole night hearing a constant tapping on the wall, and had very little sleep as a consequence,  allows me no choice but to go for a 3 star. The place is beautiful, the bed was comfortable, it was clean, and there were treats like tea, biscuits, a coffee machine and chocolates everywhere. The breakfast was indeed superb and the staff were great, too. When I complained about it, they did seemed surprised which annoyed me a bit as well. Someone should tell you to expect whatever that was. I guess for foreign people not used to sleeping in a Victorian house, ongoing annoying sounds like the ones we heard all night are not something we’re used to. Not sure if it’s the whole place but just in case, don’t stay in Room number 3. 

Great for a short visit, not sure about sleeping in again. 

We arrived to the lovely friendly Dorian House to be greeted by Libby, so friendly and helpful. Our room The Ellington  was very spacious very clean with a huge comfortable bed, beautiful fluffy towels with a coffee machine. We couldn’t ask for any more! Breakfast was absolutely perfect thanks you all the lovely staff
