+ The accommodation is easily accessible, as it is near the central station, hence, good location. They have a working elevator, but still you have to climb some steps. The room size was sufficient, with all the basic necessities provided. It also had a microwave and fridge. The bed was comfortable. Towels and toiletries were provided. Good value for money.

- The WIFI was sometimes good, sometimes bad. The pillow was not too comfortable. Check-in experience was relatively smooth, but I had to call the host to inform about my arrival. This could be done much better and smoother, if they wish. The heating was continuously on, and I wanted to turn it off, but couldn't. There was no knob.

Pros:

Towels and toiletries were provided. Good value for money.
Cons:
The WIFI was most of the time really bad. The room was very small, though it did not cause me too much of a problem. The wall insulations are really poor. Even people taking steps outside can be heard (and sometimes felt due to vibrations) inside the room. The bed and pillow were generally not too comfortable.

I see a fair few bad reviews. But for the price paid in September, which was approx 22EUR per person per night, you cannot really complain. Many people have called this a hotel, its not, its for of an apartment room. So no bar, food or drink, so best not to compare.  

Check-in: Was simple, a lady on reception gave us the key and told us the room number. 

Room: Was for 3 adults, had two single beds and a sofa bed. Slight negative was that the sofa bed was more of a sofa, but not to bad. The room was clean. Yes a little dated but ok. Bathroom was clean and shower was actually powerful, however a little small, not too much room to move. 

Location: Around a 20 min walk from the main town centre (Altstadt, for the bars) . The location around the apartment was not busy and I felt safe. There is no sign for for this pace it is just a black and white building, the establishment should consider putting up a sign. 

Check-out: very simple, just drop of the key in the key safe, a two second job. 

In conclusion, if your looking for a budget place to stay in Dusseldorf and you just need a place to sleep, then this is the place for you.

Basic, but ok for the price

Holes in the walls, dirty, exposed plug sockets, just an overall terrible experience. I've stayed in lots of cheap hotels but this is by far the worst one I have ever seen. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Terrible hotel

I often book hotels in this area of Düsseldorf. In October I booked these apartments. This was my first (and last) booking of these apartments. I was scheduled to come in mid-February. I was re-writing with staff and talking about the late check-in time. Shortly before the trip I went into my booking account to check out the booking details, but I saw your booking was cancelled for free. I also found a letter in the mail that my booking was cancelled because we couldn't write you off.

We're in the middle.

The room was quite ascetic, with separate beds, furnishings and plumbing in the bathroom. When we booked we asked for a late exit, when we left why were we trying to charge for a late exit, at the same time we decided to work from 14:00 to 18:00. So when we settled we could have problems, we went in after 21:00, we went to the front door of course the reception didn't work, it was good to have a home phone on the doorstep which a few minutes later managed to contact the girl who opened the door and the room of the apartment and said the keys to the apartment were opened, so it was quite easy to get in touch.

On my dates, it was the cheapest option.

I found this apartment very convenient for visiting the city, it is close to the central station and you can get anywhere on foot. The area is very quiet and with the kitchen you can shop and cook at home. The bathroom was a little small but functional. Surely a great price.

Great base for visiting the city

If you're a budget tourist, this is a real find! From the train station 10-15 minutes on foot to the seaside and the old town - about the same, everything inside is decent (without excavation, of course), the room was clean and spacious, the ceilings are high, the dishes - plenty.

If you book a single room, be aware - although a booking page says: bright cozy room, all you get is a humid smelly room without any window. 
The room is so humid that you can feel the moisture on the floor. 
After the trip, all my clothes were smelly on moisture. 
Try to avoid this place, it is better to give a few more EUR and sleep in a decent place.

Stayed here with friends for 2 nights, the room is basic but all we needed was there. The shower was good and towels were supplied. The beds were comfortable and there was easily enough space for 2 people. Split between the 5 of us the 2 rooms cost €44 each which was a fairly good price for what we got. Only a 10 minute walk to the train station also. Would recommend for friends who just need a bed and shower at a fairly good price.
