It was a nice little guesthouse with a friendly housekeeper. The room was large, bright and clean. The bathroom with shower and toilet was completely sufficient. Unfortunately, however, the room was very bright and directly opposite the breakfast area, so as of 8:00 the night's sleep was over. The breakfast was very good. Breads, cheese, salami, ham, boiled eggs, musli coffee... Everything there. When we checked in there was a small problem. We should have picked up the keys first in the main house in the old town. However, this was not told or written to us. The lady responsible for the guesthouse, however, was briefly left so that we could already clear our bags and refresh our room!

Super guest house.

The guest house is about 25min walking/ 5min by bus from the main house in the old town. The facility offered everything needed for a short stay. It is a guest house and not a hotel. Standards such as cosmetics, fountain, reception or air conditioning are not to be expected. But also not necessarily necessary. The rooms, including the bathroom, were clean and tidy, the most important thing for us. Although the facility is not the most modern, it is run lovingly and personally. Although we had only a small selection, very good quality for this. The real negative is little noticed.

Small, familiar, something outside

Great central location, clean and orderly hotel, very nice staff who speak Italian, excellent and abundant breakfast, pastry shop attached to the hotel, the only negative note is the noise coming from the street if you have the bad luck to happen on that side.

Good location.

From the railway station you can get on any bus with the ZOB sign on the electronic sign on the dashboard. It takes 5 minutes to drive and another 5 minutes to walk to the hotel. You can also walk on the Louispolder Straße to the Lang Straße for 15 minutes. At the Lang Straße 5 is the Garni Hotel, the entrance to the street is through the coffee shop. There at the reception you get the key to the Gastehaus and the ticket to the hotel, we got back to the hotel tomorrow at the 905 bus and left at the third stop at the Wobstraße, you can walk to the Kaufler Straße to the Lang Straße for 15 minutes. A good budget option.

The guest house is located about three kilometers from the city centre, but it is very easy to manage. The keys need to be picked up in the main house. This requires a bit of logistics, as there are no parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are convenient and clean, but they are a little old. The breakfast is rich and very balanced.

A small guest house

When we booked two double rooms with our friends at the beginning of May, we got only one and one, let's say a single room with a delivery bed, from which the TV was completely impossible because it was right under the TV. The keys to the room in the guest house Graupner, you get only after visiting but this includes a walk of about 25 minutes, but you only get this after booking. suitcases have to be carried to the first floor. So whoever is on the train or traveling (as in our case) has the A...card. The washbasins are smaller than the gas tank. The location of the guest house is quiet. From the morning, however, the price for this small glass house is never more than enough and you will never be satisfied again.

Too bad it was a toilet seat.

You're practically parking your car under the albacore, which is a bit difficult in Bamberg. You have to pick up the key from their hotel in the center, this is a detachment. You're a short walk from one of the most famous breweries where you can also eat. The hotel is very nice and clean. Breakfast is served in a very nice room. I highly recommend it. The biggest room for a night with breakfast is 88,00 euros. I go every time I'm in Bamberg.

That's very nice.

The guest house is the attachment of the main hotel in the city centre (Lange Street). If you are satisfied with a quiet location, fresh bedding and a satisfying breakfast, the guest house is OK. The best thing about the guest house is the restaurant opposite: the cornflower. Many little things bother you: as already complained by other guests, you have to pick up the key in the main house (20-25 minutes on foot, and not - as there claims - 10 minutes!); pay only in cash; no toilet paper in the bathroom; the rolls grow and the curtains are small, so that at 5 o'clock the sun has turned off; TV: ZDF only; what to do to get a little something to click in the bathroom for yourself, but our friends can escape from the bathroom....

The Unloved Dependence

Pro:
It was clean, quiet and convenient.
Room has all I needed (except for WiFi connection).

Con:
It is 20-30 minutes walk from the old city.
The WiFi internet connection did not work. There was only one LAN cable at the dining room for all guests.
You have to register and take the room key from the associated hotel in Lange Strasse (near the old city) which is 25 minutes walk. I was not aware of it and I did not have a car...
