Decided to stay for one night and arrived later in the evening. Staff was extremely attentive, Rooms were in very good condition, although you could hear lots of noises from other guests, the insulation is not perfect. Breakfast was good as well, the location also very nice.

I stayed here with friends a couple of weeks ago. The building is down a lane, and when you arrive you are greeted by the sound of cow bells from the fields opposite, which is quite charming.
The guesthouse itself is very clean and the owners clearly take a lot of pride in running it. 
I had booked a double room for single occupancy, and came across a problem which you would only know about if you lived in Germany. I was expecting a double bed, with two pillows and double duvet - what I got was a double bed with a single duvet and single pillow, which made booking a double room a complete waste of time. Apparently, Germans use single duvets even on double beds, so it's worth knowing that if you are considering which kind of room to book. 
The room itself was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was bright and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good -typically German, and everyone in my party had a very enjoyable stay.
I would definitely recommend Gastehaus Linsinger to anyone wanting good value accommodation in Bad Wiessee.

Lovely place...

We were on a road trip coming through the Tegernsee area and decided to stay at this guesthouse based on internet reviews. We were greeted by Mr Wraith and just loved how he worked.

Pros:
- Super friendly hosts. The Wraith family take great pride in running their guesthouse. They were fantastic in every sense of service and hospitality.
- Rooms were very clean and comfortable
- Mini-bar is the common lounge room on the first floor and is based on the honesty system. There is a fridge and you mark off what drinks you took. Prices are very reasonable. If the choice isn't enough for you, there is a Netto (budget supermarket) around the corner within walking distance.
- Loved the big breakfast spread
- Great location. Close to the lake and within easy access to hiking/walking paths. We walked up the hill to Freihaus for lunch (which was also excellent) and made a big loop back down to the lake.
- Free wifi
- Free onsite parking

Cons: 
- We wish we could have stayed for another few days!!

We would love to be able to come back to the Tegernsee area. The mountains and lake were simply stunning... but the friendliness and ease of service at the Linsinger was some of the best we've experienced in a long while.

Excellent Surprise

Lovely lovey location. There is a little stream that flows right behind the house right past the large terrace.... so peaceful and quaint. Flowers everywhere. Wonderful breakfast buffet with home-made cereals & jams. Internet is ok... not very fast or strong in some areas of the guest house. Also the owners are very friendly and go above & beyond to be helpful. Highly recommended!

Wonderful breakfast buffet, decent internet, incredibly idyllique location!

The guesthouse is centrally located and within walking distance of the lake and shopping areas. It has a lovely warm ambience and is both traditionally and tastefully decorated with a lovely breakfast room overlooking the garden.  The bedroom was spacious (with a private balcony overlooking the garden) and a modern bathroom; both were immaculately clean.  Limited car parking is available on site.
