The quality, the cleanliness, the furniture, the equipment, the decoration, the outdoor spaces, the proximity to the park, everything... everything... everything is perfect. Not to mention the professionalism of Mrs. Schmider and her husband, the sympathy of her hospitality and the cordial simplicity she has for everyone.

Of all the FeWo's we've had... this is the best!

For a stay of 3 nights we booked this establishment located about 15min walking distance from Europa park. On arrival we found a nice garden and small terrace just for us with a little screw but very nice frame. Then we go back to a new apartment with a contemporary and quite neutral decoration. The kitchen is fully equipped dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, coffee machine, all kitchen utensils... very comfortable sofa. The nice room with a king bed, mattress not too hard or soft.

Provides all spacious and new comfort

The owner is very kind and cooperative, the place is clean and new furniture, the hotel is not so far from Europa park , very quiet and well equipped rooms, they even took us to the train station for free in their own car ..

Very clean and nice 

The apartment is large enough to accommodate four people. It is equipped with everything you can need. Especially the kitchen does not leave any desires open. The beds crack extremely at every movement, but otherwise nothing negative can be observed. Europapark is about 10 minutes' walk away.

Beautiful holiday home within walking distance of the Europapark

The Fewo Forge is perfect for visiting the European Park. The apartment is very large and very well furnished and equipped. (large kitchen with dining table for 6 people, living room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with bath and shower There is everything for cooking. (dishes, glasses, flour, baths, washing machine with tabs) Bed linen and towels are also available. To the park it is 5 minutes walk to restaurants, bakeries, post office it is also only 5 minutes walk. To the supermarket by car it is 10 minutes.

TOP location for the Europa Park

We staying with a family and everything was just perfect.
Only one small minus - there is a church near the place, and every hour we wake up with a belling sound. But - the rest was just fine. Children were happy.

Perfect for staying in Rust and visiting Europa Park

We stayed at this hotel for the second time. Like last time, everything was very good. The room is cozy and spacious, there is a kitchen with everything you need. A large bathroom with two washing machines. One evening, we asked the owners for a grill and were happy to bake sausages and sausages on the fire. Very hospitable and friendly owners, ready to help and give advice. We will be happy to come back again. Paid internet is 4 euros in 8 hours. It would be nice if there was a washing machine in the room.

Not the first time.

It's a very clean and comfortable apartment, 10 minutes' walk from Europa Park and the Lidl of Rust. I really liked the garden with table and chairs and the possibility of dining outdoors. A functioning kitchen with all the necessary dishes. If you're looking for a luxury property you chose wrongly....otherwise this is a property to book with ease. I found the price in line with the property. I'll give a recommendation to this property with such a beautiful garden: it would be a great barbecue for guests.

Gastehaus Schmider may seem like a good value place nearby Europa Park, however, it is far from it. My booking experience has been horrendous with this particular accommodation.
I booked in February 2014 for travel in May 2014.

Most if not all accommodations in Rust, allow free booking and cancellation up to a certain time, except Gastehaus Schmider. It was a risk that I chose to take and regretted.

I had booked through lonelyplanet.com (an affiliate of booking.com) where the website had mentioned if I expected to arrive after 18:00 hours (there was no mention that any time after 19:00 was not tolerated), I was to contact the accommodation to request late check-in. I put this information in the booking details to request late check-in due to our limited flight options. However, the accommodation subsequently replied back through booking.com that they are unable to accommodate the request.

As a result, I was forced to cancel my reservation and incur the charges associated with cancellation because of the inflexibility of the accommodation.

I attempted to explain to booking.com and the accommodation that I should not be charged because this was a condition coming from the accommodation and was not my own choosing to cancel the reservation. Booking.com made me contact the accommodation but all attempts via email or phone have proven unsuccessful. The man in the house does not speak any English and the lady in the house speaks some English but is extremely rude and discourteous to native English speakers. 

Talking to her is like talking to someone who just cannot wait for you to shut up and go away. I cannot emphasize how many times I have been interrupted mid-sentence to hear the lady tell me that I should not be calling her despite my attempts to explain the circumstances in simple English terms.

This was supposed to be a simple trip that included 7 friends which has turned out to be a booking nightmare.

There are many other more accommodating places in Rust that I would suggest you to go to.

Avoid booking with this place

The apartments have been renovated, everything very clean, the Kche is equipped with everything you need, the accommodation is in a quiet lage, the park is only a few minutes' walk away, Mrs. Schmider is very nice and goes to Wnsche.
