We ate and stayed there many times before and loved the food.

Looks like they have new owners, this time it was horrible. 

We were the only guests in the restaurant but they still managed to serve us half cold food.
Food was edible but like said nearly cold and not home cooked.

Telling the service about the cold food she just shrug her shoulders bored and left. 

Service in general not interested in the guest and bored. 

What a pity, we used to go there any tie we were around in this area. 

Very dissapointing and deffo last visit. 

Terrible service 

We stayed at this hotel for one night in March 2019. It is a few minutes' walk from Frankfurt Hahn Airport. We chose it because we had the return flight early in the morning and so we decided to sleep near the airport. The rooms are simple but welcoming and clean. The only thing to be careful about is the reception opening time because the hotel is above a restaurant and is operated by the same restaurants and so the reception time is the same as the restaurant, from 16.30 to 22.00. We had the need to deposit the luggage in the hotel and then take the bus to Treviri, but we couldn't because there was no one in the hotel. Fortunately in the Treviri station we have luggage armed to leave the luggage and we decided to stay in this hotel, so we stayed on the ground floor of the restaurant and we decided to eat in this way.

A good solution near the airport.

At the time of booking I noted my late arrival and the hotel owner herself confirmed to let me check-in after 10pm, provided that the hotel was in touch on the day of arrival for reconfirming the time of arrival. I followed this instruction - when I gave a call to this hotel a few hours before my flight to Frankfurt Hahn, the owner was extremely rude and stubbornly refused to take any late check-in guests, despite that she herself had confirmed before that she would wait. Then she hung up the phone and did not take any calls from me ... she was, however, quick to send a message via Booking.com to say "late check-in after 10pm not possible" (although she never said this before, only after she took my phone call). I reported this weird behaviour to Booking.com, and when Booking.com staff gave a call to this hotel for clarification, this owner was also very rude toward Bokking.com staff. I was in fact lucky to realise this problem before I set off to my journey, and Booking.com was helpful to find another hotel nearby for me. I also notice that some of the fellow travellers have experienced the same, last-minute refusal from Gasthaus am Flughafen to accommodate guests. This property must not pretend to take any late check-in guests after 10 pm. There are many hotels near Frankfurt Hahn Airport that welcome any late check-in guests (my replacement hotel reception was open till midnight, and the key code was provided in case of late arrival) - DO NOT BOTHER TO BOOK A ROOM AT GASTHAUS AM FLUGHAFEN.

No late check-in possible - DO NOT STAY HERE

+ price per night (~50€). + cleanliness, room comfort. + have their own restaurant where you can have dinner. + free tea, coffee for guests. - when it came to chequing from 4:00 pm. - I took it as chequing. Actually until 16:00 the hotel would be closed. We were lucky: we were seen standing in the greenery under the rain at the hotel and let in. And we settled in early, thanks to a nice lady whose name I don't know). - from the terminal to the hotel 15 minutes on foot, which is not very convenient if you have heavy luggage.

It opens at 4: 00.

We have arrived at the Hotel at 15:00 and surprisingly found out that hotel is closed. No information on booking.com that hotel is fully closed until 16:30, no sms or e-mail saying that,  leaving people standing on the street with no roof and outside is +8, wind and rain. No lobby, no restaurant opened to wait until check-in. I have called the manager, who was talking very rude and advised me to look for another hotel if i don't want to stand outside for 1h30 on the street and hang the phone. It is the first time i am experiencing such rude and ignorant attitude. This person (manager or owner) should reconsider working in hospitality sector. I wonder if he can actually put himself in our position. When we booked we marked expected arrival time from 14-15:00 and we didn't receive any message from the hotel about closure. We were forced to go to neighbour hotel which cost us additional expenses. I do not advise anyone staying at this hotel. I also work in hotel which do not operate 24 hours per day and it is very easy to post correct and full information on hotel working hours.

Misleading information! Rude staff

We booked the room in that hotel on booking.com. We specified that we will arrive between 23 and 24 pm (reception works until 23). We arrived at 23:15, but hotel was closed. Hotel didn't left key in special boxes and didn't answer on phone calls. As a result we had to be search a new hotel in the middle of the night. Now hotel grudgingly communicate and refuses to refund money. Please, be carefully with that dishonest hotel.

Stop! Awful.They left us on the street.

Clean, good bedding, good sound insulation, proper bathroom and the most important free parking included in the low price of 55€ for 2 people. retail wifi works very well and free if you have to leave early by plane it's perfect...you're 7 minutes walk from the boarding doors.

good for one night

Stayed here with a friend - two girls travelling, hotel was close to airport and one of the cheapest ones (double room 55 eur, one big bed). The room itself was nice, small, no real table but the bed was good. Also had tv, comfy chairs. We liked the bathroom a lot, that's their best feature - plenty of towels, big mirror, heating. There's a self - service coffee and tea table in the guest house, tea, sugar and instant cofee without spoons. 
But the unpleasant part was a woman unlocking the doors of our room at 9:30 am :D she didn't really speak English, but she must have been working here, maybe a maid or something. Anyway, she unlocked the doors and just stood there looking at us, both barely awake. After unsuccessful conversation she left, saying - no problem. As the checkout was at 11, we felt strange someone would just burst in. What if instead of two girls we would have been a couple? I mean, this hotel might have some privacy issues :D 
Anyway, if I'm ever back here I might return, if they keep prices low and bathrooms as nice, but the stay here seemed a little odd. And we couldn't find a trash bin for cigarette buds,  but might have been under the snow somewhere. 

Nice bathroom 

We stayed in these two hotels, we were 2 adult couples and we had a good time. The Rossija Hotel is close to Frankfurt Central Station about 300 meters) the area is surrounded by red-light bars and frequented by unrecommended people, but just pull straight and no problem. The good breakfast is plentiful. The second hotel is about 1 km walk from Hahn Airport and there is a restaurant. Comfortable for those who have to catch the plane early in the morning.

The weekend in Frankfurt

Nice small hotel close to Frankfurt-Hahn airport, I was very well received by the owner, fast and efficient explanation for all that was necessary. The room was not so big but very confortable. All recently renewed, very nice!
