Very comfortable family hotel with super modern rooms and very good bathrooms! Friendly owners👍👍 The dinner😋is also great with the owner who is a cook himself, as well as the delicious breakfast️ An ideal hotel to stay overnight on the way!

This is a great hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights at the beginning of July. The view was really nice, but unfortunately we had a room that was very old - it had nothing to do with modernity. The orange-yellow carpet floor was very dirty and the shower did not have the lower sealing on the shower cabin, so the entire bathroom was placed under water one centimeter high. When we gave the notice, the staff just said that they would know. For breakfast, I miss the words, which you shouldn't really present: everything from small plastic dishes (marmalade, nutella, butter, honey, coffee...), the sausage was uncooled on the table, the cheese was almost backed up and the breakfast cereal and Tom's gourmets were in half a net. Even though it was a nice bag, the children still had to pay for it, and even the two free boxes were in the bag.

It's a beautiful view, the rest was disappointing.

This family-run hotel, with only twelve rooms, is located beautifully above Lörrachs overlooking Switzerland, although we had booked a studio with a sofa bed for three nights. Free parking spaces right in front of the house made it easy to get in and out. The room was large enough, individually cut, with balcony and modern furnished. There was a separate bedroom and plenty of storage space. Unfortunately, the bathroom was only moderately clean, besides the remaining hair on the floor, although the previous owner's shower was disturbed mainly by the mosquito. One explanation was also the fact that the fire caused the three people to lose all comfort. Overall, however, the rooms were also packed with the registers.

Good little family hotel with little flaws

We stayed one night at the Hotel Maien. We booked a room with a balcony. The room was clean and modernly furnished. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is rich and lovingly arranged. A special highlight is the baked bread. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Nice room and very friendly staff

Very cozy, the hotel is comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very rich, but with no gluten-free and lactose-free options. The restaurant is very pleasant and the dinner was delicious. The regional wine is very tasty.

Very pleasant

We have now booked the Maien for the fourth time on our way to Italy as a stopover from the balcony.We have ordered one of the larger rooms, which at first glance is bright and modern, but unfortunately it has been a bit exhausted.It seems like we have taken money into our hands but forgot that afterwards the care of the stock is important.Nothing is more serious, but mold in the shower area, with lavender lipstick must be kept in the balcony separation, so we have expected more and also better in the sun. The dinner, which seemed to be the main reason for us to go to Maien, may have left us very disappointed. The service, if we do not have any fresh eggs on the first day of the breakfast, unfortunately, did not have anything more to do with the freshness of the evening, and unfortunately did not really have a pulse, which we could not find in the heart of Switzerland, but we could not find anything else at all, which was not quite as simple as it was at the time of the opening, and we could not, unfortunately, at the time of the opening of the restaurant,

A nice quiet hotel with a beautiful view. Ideal for traveling in Switzerland. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is very ample and at a more than reasonable price. Good shower and comfortable bed. A good choice.

Good breakfast for five euros!

I stayed with my family for a couple of days for a holiday tour: positive points: - excellent location on the border with Switzerland - quiet area and in nature - free shelter available - rich breakfast - good restaurant - smiling staff and friendly negative points: - dirty room (covered with hair, hairs and stains), dusty floor - small sofa bed (a child and a boy) we were very uncomfortable - no mattresses or blinds and then in the morning at 5 o'clock sun and very hot - no air conditioning - breakfast, for a fee and if you arrive after 9 o'clock, stay - no elevator (2 floors) Improving these negative points, the structure is discreet.

Nice location, but little attention to detail.

We arrived shortly before noon. The waitress informed us that the kitchen was only in operation from noon. She had served us drinks before. We did not receive a menu card until we had arranged one ourselves shortly after noon. At 12:15 p.m. we gave up our order. We had to wait until about 1 p.m. for our meal. The food was presented with a large tamtam. A disaster the roast beef served was all over the fat strips and the french fries were well burned. The host Marco Weiss also did not pass by to check if everything was okay. He probably is hot to work!

In this restaurant, only the beautiful view of Lörrach is true.

Great restaurant and always excellent service. Friendlier and better just can't. With many of the local reviews, you feel like the hair in the soup is long sought after to report on it. Here's just the overall picture and above all the perfect service. Again and again!
