Clean and nice gasthaus. A good choise if you want to stay a night in the countryside. Breakfast was good, including fresh fruits. Nice balcony outside. Little parking area in the front of the house, but you can also park on the street.

Nice gasthaus located in a peaceful village

We spent the night at the inn and were very satisfied. Although the rooms are more like 70's style, but they are well furnished and clean. The breakfast was very good and the service was very good. We are happy to come back.

Nice, affordable and flexible

In a two-star house, we didn't expect anything special, but the furniture was already very crowded. We had a room in the front, which had the disadvantage of waking up early in the morning from the traffic noise. Breakfast was ok and the terrace was on the main side, which was very nice.

All in all satisfactory

Nice, small guesthouse in a quiet location near the A3. Idyllic walking paths right in front of the guesthouse. For those looking for relaxation and peace of mind on the way, for example, it is well maintained here. Very quiet clean rooms, friendly service and ground-level regional cuisine at reasonable prices. The facility has, however, gotten a little old, but this is a matter of taste.

Quiet, cozy, idyllically located

It's not bad at all. It's nice. It's too late, there's no parking. The owner drove his car, and we'll put him in his seat.

That's good enough.

Not far from the highway but very quiet place.  Ideal for a few nights.
The beds are very comfy.  Very good breakfast, good meals and drinks.
Service is very good and you get quality for your money.
There is easy accesable parking available and you can sit outside with a view over the surroundings of te Main river.
Der Stube is open the main part of the day, so if you have nothing to do, it is ideal to get drunk.  Though the surroundings are interesting enough to do some nice walks.

Family-run with very good rooms, good service and frendly people.

This is second time we stayed in this place. Absolutely fab on first visit so we decide to return as we needed a break from long drive. This must be the most friendly people in world the owners and their daughter i suppose. Easy check in beer was really good in evening we didnt eat as we arrived quiet late but sure they would offer us something if we would ask. Breakfast its ok not hot dishes but nice selection of breads and salami. Room clean spacefull lot of tv channels good wifi parking just outside the hotel. We will be back!!!

Perfect once again

Friendly efficient welcome shown to our room which was more than adequate and clean. No air conditioning but a French style glass doors which opened to let the night air in. Fast free wifi too. The great bonus we felt was the large terrace out from the dining room which was great for drinks or dinner. Nice simple tasty  meals on offer (breakfast included in tariff). Please note on Wednesdays the dining room is closed for dinner/drinks. Very helpful staff assisted us trace family history in the area. We would recommend this hotel for anyone but bike riders wanting to explore the region this is a great spot to base yourselves.

Warm family run hotel off the beaten track but beside the beautiful Main river in Bavaria.

Year after year this little family kept Gasthaus gets full points from us. Family is very polite, rooms are modest but very clean. Restaurant serves tastefull german food at good price. Position very good if you visit The Wertheim Outlet Village.

Edullinen pikku Gasthaus

Gasthof zur Sonne is a long-standing family business with tradition  very quiet and located directly on the main. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The premises are relatively newly renovated and everything is clean and conveniently furnished. The rooms are large enough. A new terrace/balcony has just been put into operation. The restaurant offers good-natured and regional meals and where possible, personal wishes are fulfilled. The breakfast buffet is decent and varied enough. We spent a few days cycling to arrive at Main and Tauber and would surely return there.
