The location, outside of Cell by the lake, makes for a quiet vacation, where you're welcomed by family, with very good local food, and accommodated in simple, rural rooms, all in all, a vacation away from the big city.

Very good.

It’s certainly interesting. It’s a lovely old building which would once have commanded great views but is now obscured by new constructions. We had a lovely big room on the top floor which was very spacious and comfortable. It was also exceptionally clean but with a slight smell of fags which is normal for Austria.
Rosa and the staff are a colourful bunch who like a drink and the service is quite chaotic at meal times. The food itself was decent without being tasty.
If you’re looking to ski it’s not in a bad place. The runs in Zell are beautiful. You can get the bus down to Ariet lift and it takes 5 mins (or 20 minute walk). You wouldn’t want to carry your boots and skis though as it’s up a hill.
Overall we had a great stay but it’s certainly not five star.

Mixed bag

A cozy hotel on the outskirts of Cel-am-zi. It's Czech-oriented. The staff speaks Czech, they don't speak English. They feed very well. It's cozy, homey. The first big minus: no WiFi. The second big minus: the hotel is far from civilization, there are no shops nearby, not even water to buy. The third big minus: no place to dry clothes, there's only a shoe dryer. There's no room to store ski.

We were skiing together, mid-March.

Stay away from this place if you value your life.
Rooms:
The pictures that you see are from the main building.. there is also a smaller building made of extremely small rooms with no space whatsoever to unpack.. we had to leave everything in our suitcases for a week! Of what we heard half of the rooms don't even have a bathroom / toilet - you have to use a common one for the whole floor.
In our room the toilet had something like a pump that was also leaking and smelled bad.. never we have seen such horrible conditions and we have traveled all the way to the Balkans. The whole place is falling apart and it has not seen a reconstruction in many many years. 
Service:
ZERO interest in the well-being of their guests. A three star hotel gives you everyday a pack of shower gel, soap etc. We had ONE small soap for the entire stay of 7 days.
One morning the daughter of the owner parked her big Audi A7 right behind our cars and blocked us. We had to chase her up with the other employees so we can leave for the day. She was visibly very annoyed and something like an apology was nowhere to be seen.
There was NO coffee for 3 days during breakfast.. there was no coffee machine. On the fourth day they somehow figured it would be a good idea to prepare some coffee and put it in kettles. It was some of the worst coffee I've tasted but at least it was there. On the last day they installed a broken coffee machine which they then put a cloth over. Why?
The food for breakfast was absolutely appalling... I've had much better breakfast in two star pensions in Albania. There were no hams , only very low quality / cheap salami. Whatever bacon was there .. it was quickly gone and not replaced. One day we ran out of bread.. when some guests alerted the waitress she brought only THREE pieces to the people who alerted her... the rest of us watched in disbelief as she couldn't care less that all the baskets for the rest of the guests are empty. Again.. I've never seen such incredibly uninterested service in their own guests.
The first day I picked some boiled eggs... the egg leaked right into my hands as it was nowhere near boiled.
Dinner was all over the place.. some meals were pretty good while others were abysmal.. it was always a lottery as you had to choose the meal during breakfast from a badly written menu (also a first)
Sitting during meals:
Extremely cramped with up to 10 people sharing a single round table... I felt like i am on a sailing boat. Half the guests were visibly very disappointed and annoyed. 
The cherry on the top:
On the last day dinner (most guests had a week long term) we found that instead soup we were served a 'salad' made of all the bad salami that were not eaten during the previous week during the breakfast. Job well done! .. It just shows you that the owners were trying to save on us every little cent of EURo so they can service their Audis.
No problem.. when footing the weekly bill I left a tip of a whole 20 cents... probably shouldn't have.

One or two star hostel - NOT a three star hotel

If you're going on a ski holiday, all you need is the bed, good food and a nice host! All you need is the limber garden! A friendly chef, the food is top! The rooms are very clean and old fashioned. We've been in this hotel for 5 years and honestly don't want to go anywhere else! If you have a dog, you're just as welcome, the chef has 2 in the yard. There's also a small sauna and actually everything you need. With the car you're in the elevator in about 7 minutes. We can always recommend the hotel if you're not looking for luxury, but what's genuine and hearty. Hello Rosa, we'll be back))

For years, it's only been the rose.

We staid for one week at this very nice place. The room was warm, cosy and clean. Everyday they were cleaning our room, making the bed and the bathroom. The food was really good and delicious. The staff and the owner were always on disposal, very friendly and polite. There is parking, place to leave your ski boots and to warm them, also place to leave your ski. For the price we paid the service was on a very good/ excellent level!

Friendly, yummy and cosy!

We had a place to stay for the first time, and it was fine. We wouldn't book the place again. Parking was a little limited. We were definitely too expensive for the place to stay. Food (half board) was good and the price was fine. We had to share a round table with three other couples. If anyone wanted to get out, everyone had to get up. The dining room was too small for all the guests.

Very nice but a bit distant

We were visiting with children and grandparents. The food was great. Good portions and prices are OK. The room was a single disaster. The plunger was flawed, the bathroom lamp was defective, various garbage was found from before and probably from older guests. Here no one checked the room, let alone cleaned it! Room door has also long not seen oil in the hinges. Mattresses and rust are old, and leaked. The room of the parents didn't even have a toilet, we had to go down the hallway where a toilet was extra for this room. The pool is dirty and long no longer cleaned and the plastic chairs and beds. It's dangerous.

The food is great, the rooms, the playground and the pool are dangerous

We were staying in the back of the house. The room was only accessible by a steep narrow staircase. The room was if you were generously nine square meters in size. In this room there was a double bed, a dressing room and a small table with a tablecloth that was full of stains. Freedom of movement was zero. The highlight was the flat screen. Parts of the broken smoker were scattered on the dressing room. Over the bed were obviously hanging spider webs. The window frames and window benches were very dirty and shallow. Since the room was very small and narrow, the tablecloth was alternately entering the doorway. The bathroom was also very small. The bathroom was not suitable for people. The hostess had a pressed pizza, or a heavy drink of alcohol, but we had nothing to eat there for the night, and we wanted to have a pizza or a drink with a heavy drink, but we had to have a drink with the HP.

This house isn't a three-star hotel, travel agents should be better at controlling it, or they'll soon have a bad reputation.

On the advice of our hotel, we went to this establishment, which besides the rooms also has a small restaurant. It is worth the visit because the decoration of the place is typical and even busy but you can feel at ease there, the atmosphere being especially warm and the service. In the plate, typical, generous and affordable dishes. Recommended for a good evening!
