Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at the Wörndlhof refuge. Barbara and Wolfgang are very friendly, hospitable hosts. Our room with terrace in the refuge was very tastefully furnished, the bathroom was a comfortable place. The nearby magical forest by the sea combined with these lovely people and the outstanding culinary highlights made this one day something very special. We felt very well. Many thank you.

A small hotel with a very special flair and excellent food.

A small but very fine hotel, which is run by friendly, friendly, up-and-coming, friendly young people (Barbara and Wolfgang) with a friendly view of the mountains all around! In just a few steps to the back of the lake and a short walk to Klausbachtal! They give you a feeling of being more than just welcome before you arrive, always have an open ear and offer exactly the mix of service, comfort and laziness you need to go on vacation! The location is unique: competently overlooking mountains! In just a few steps to the back of the lake and a short walk to Klausbachtal. A bus stop in the nearby fitness centre as well as many hiking and outdoor amenities. Since the construction of the PKW we also like to stay at the nearby mountain but we were often accompanied by a return classroom, R6: It's easy to get a free lunch! A free lunch is also available from Klausbachtalk, which offers a great atmosphere to all the family, and also offers a great view of the sea, and the hotel's all-in-all-time, and there's nothing to do

Formula of happiness

It was an excellent stay: nice room, great breakfast, very good food and super great hosts. From here, very nice excursions / walks are possible. Absolutely recommended. We are very happy to come back.

I highly recommend it.

Our room in the main house was spacious, the bathroom was small, but conveniently equipped. There was a little narrow access via a staircase to the second floor. The hosts are very warm and friendly, breakfast varied, the restaurant very good. Class service. Super location by the back of the sea as a starting point for many excursions and hikes. We'll be back!

Extremely friendly atmosphere with great food, highly recommended!

It's the second time we've been here, and we'll definitely be back. The proximity to Berchtesgaden National Park and the hiking opportunities right in front of the hotel door are excellent. The magic forest and the beautiful hinterland are also right in front of the door.

The Happiness of Walking

If you're looking for peace and relaxation, just get away from everyday life, get out of the phone and enjoy the seclusion, then you're well-rounded at the Hotel Wörndlhof - Das Refuge. Barbara and Wolfgang's hospitality is unique, friendly and very kind. We were cared for and felt very well-rounded. Daily tips and suggestions were very welcome and helped in planning our ventures.

It's all right, we'll be back

Beautiful, clean rooms, delicious breakfast and great food, a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in spite of the coronation, not to mention the magnificent landscape around the hinterland and the lake, a good starting point for many enterprises.

Super friendly.

We were all very at peace the shelter has become really very beautiful and we were super taken care of and we ate great again the staff is friendly and takes care of their guests it's like a big family you just feel comfortable we'll be back:-)

Great atmosphere in a beautiful setting

We've already been to the shelter twice, and that's all that matters! Rooms are well equipped and well maintained. The food tastes delicious, breakfast is great, the host and host are always friendly and in a good mood. Whoever is looking for relaxation away from stress and hustle is right at this quiet hotel.

Rest and feel good!

We felt absolutely comfortable in Wörndlhof. The quiet location and the great environment as a starting point for our enterprises were exactly what we were looking for. Our rooms (10+Refuge 6) were super beautiful, comfortable and very clean. Barbara and Wolfgang Bartels are very attentive, extraordinarily nice hosts.
