The pillows are comfortable the room is clean room service is amazing bed is comfortable the bathroom is clean and good overall best experience I’ve ever had with any hotel which says a lot since I’ve been to a lot of hotels

Nasty and cheap hotel that feels like a third world country. Beds are extremely uncomfortable with no springs - it is only a hard mattress atop a big wooden box. Everywhere in the room especially in front of the old rundown AC there is this horrible smell that burns your nose. Room has plenty of flies and mosquitoes which ruin your sleep.

I dont even know who is the idiot who decided to place the power outlets in the WORST possible places. If you would like to to use your phone while charging you must hang around and sit on the floor. The ones actually next to your bed are used to plug in the AC. Dosent even matter if you have an adapter, because the plug is circular.

Room is very shabby and you really are getting what you paid for. Glossy walls, the cabinets were in very poor state, and my wardrobe door was hanging on a thread. TV was very old and did not work at all! Minifridge has lots of dew and I'd rather eat expired food than eat whatever someone took out of that thing.

Final straw was when I had to get back to my room using the rusty elevator. I was going up when the door opened!!! If you want to ruin your time in Dubai, COME TO GOLDEN STAR HOTEL!!!!

To be honest i don't know how place like this it has business license? Because 
It's not safe no rules you will not know the
Prices before you check out and if you question the price it will not make difference because they have your passport ! very rude wamen and she is the 
Owner as I know! allso she use to run 
Uruba same area 
(I call it hostage) and I will recommend city of dubai to look in to it !
Please and please don't go this place

This place smells like crap the staff smell like crap the fan looks like it is going to fall down on my head while I am sleep the bathroom has mold this walls are gross DON’T get a hotel room you will regret it they only take pictures of the part of the room that are good like the beds they look good but they and hard as stone same with the pillows and you have to keep the card in this thing or all the power goes out

I have stayed 9 time in this hotel.
Location is good and near baniyas square. Staff are angry. Breakfast is not bad .lunch is poor. Room is big but not clean.wifi is poor.pool is good
Management is too angry .Every year is poorest.

one of the budget hotel near gold suk market in deira dubai near metro railway station.from here gold and spice market is nearby.from here one can easily go to burdubai by ferry within 15 minute cheapst mode.

We lived here during a business trip to Dubai in December 2012. A friend from Somalia booked a room for us, we were his guests. It was terrible: the rooms smelled of paint, the bathrooms were just awfully dirty. It was like we were in a hotel in India... Breakfast was not included in the room price. 50 euros per person per night and without breakfast!! A terrible experience.

Very sad hotel.

We stayed at this hotel during a business trip in Dubai in December 2012. A friend from Somalia made reservations for us and we were her guests. It was a terrible experience. We were the only people in Europe. The rooms smelled of paint and the bathroom was not decent. It was like being in a hotel in India... Breakfast not included... and the price of the room was not low; about 50 euros per person without breakfast!! Terrible experience. The nearby hotel was better (managed by Somalis too), the Guiba hotel (a star hotel), where we had breakfast!

Very bad hotel

We were staying here on a business trip to DUBAI in December 2012. A Somali friend had booked it for us and we were her guests. It was a terrible experience: we were the only Europeans. The rooms smelled of color, the bathroom was indecent. We felt like we were in a hotel in India... no breakfast included - and it wasn't even cheap: about 50 euros per person without breakfast!! Terrible experience. Nearby was a better hotel (also under Somali management), the Hotel Giuba (1 star), where we had breakfast!
