This was our favourite hotel during our entire trip ( we started in Cinque Terre, Italy). The room was essentially a little apartment which included a kitchen area that had stove, fridge, utensils, pots and pans, you name it! The balcony and view are stunning, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a relaxing evening. 

Semy was a wonderful host, she made us tasty juice and showed us all the major tourist attractions. She tidied the apartment but wasn't invasive, she even left us a plate of fresh fruit as a surprise. 

The location was great, close to beaches and restaurants and only a 10 min uber ride to Old Town. 

10/10 recommend, we will absolutely come back to guest house Avdic.

The views are amazing and the apartment had everything we needed and more. The appartment was very well equipped, even had coffee maker and washing machine! The little touches such as soap and shower gel made it a lovely break. The host was lovely and brought us icecream and homemade cakes. Beautiful location would highly recommend. Thank you Semy x

Just lovely

Apartment located in the outskirts. Good communication, there is a bus (line 6) located 5 minutes walk from the apartment, which leaves you in the center of Dubrovnik. Nearby there is a super where to buy the necessary if you do not feel like eating or dining outside. A few meters walking are ubiquitous 3 beaches, from which there is a space for a drink. Very friendly hostess, nothing but to get there explains where you are located, what you have around and how to access the different places in the city.

She is well communicated and an excellent hostess.

Guest house Avdic was a really alternative to the Dubrovnik old town traffic. Babin kuk area has 3 really nice beaches including the biggest Cobacabana beach. The host is really friendly and nice lady who made us feel most welcome and even bring us some fresh fruits and wine from their own garden behind the house. The superior room had an amazing balcony with to the bay. Rooms were clean and air-conditioned. Food market and buses to the town just 200 meters away. Highly recommend place to stay in Dubrovnik.

Nice and calm place close to the beach

We have just come back from a 10 day stay in the superior studio with a sea view. The apartment is a converted attic so there are some issue with a low ceiling, the kitchen is small but useable, as is the bathroom. It is also at the top of a hill with about 140 steps down to the coast. That's enough of the negatives, being on a hill means there are fantastic views of the harbour so that you can watch all the boats coming and going. There are huge cruise liners to small boats none of which can be heard once the window is closed. There is a small lovely beach 10 minutes walk away. Sema the host is fantastic, she was there to welcome us when we arrived and on two occasions brought us home made wine and cake. She even made us an evening meal one night and brought it up to our balcony. All amenities are within walking distance including a supermarket, bakery, a street with loads of bars and but into town. If you are thinking about booking this room, then do it. We cannot recommend it enough

Amazing views

We had the little room on the ground floor with a bathroom on the balcony, which didn't bother us. It was a shame we didn't have sea views and there was no terrace etc. The room is narrow and the bed isn't the best, but you're on the water in a minute. For us (one night) it was okay, but nothing more.

Small, but okay

The bathroom on the ground floor has the toilet and the bathroom on the balcony!!!and it is very small.The dishes were very dirty.The mattresses were also very scattered.Everywhere were stains on the wall and on the bedding.Also the washing machine was on until 2pm.The neighbors could be heard until morning.This room is not recommended. Never again!

Holidays

The rooms were a frequency 1 room very small with balcony balcony bathroom and toilet (about 1.5m2) and lots of mosquitoes. 2 room studio was slightly larger (about 20m2 including bathroom, toilet and kitchen) with a terrace and view of the harbour and bridge of Dubrovnik. Both rooms had mattresses spread out and cleanliness was desirable. There were stains all over the walls and bedding and the dishes we first washed before we could use it.

We were there in June 2016. Our apartment was small but clean. The bathroom is really tiny but still goes clear and fulfills its purpose. The bed was cozy. Unfortunately, you can't get any German or international broadcasts on TV, which should be minor during the holidays. The landlady is very friendly!! 20 meters from the house you have the possibility to park. The best reason to book this apartment is, of course, the view of the port!! This is superb both day and night!!

Apartment with excellent views

We are staying here at the moment and what a find!! Beautiful self catering room with all you need and more! And not forgetting the stunning view. Semy the owner has been lovely and nothing is any bother, and made us feel right at home here!! Tonight she brought us home baking and a bottle of homemade red wine, delicious! A short journey into the old town of  Dubrovnik around 10mins on local bus( bus stop close by) a supermarket, bakery, shops and restaurants within a few mins walk. I would highly recommend this accommodation. 10/10
