Highly satisfied on my second visit to Split this month with my stay at Fjaka Guesthouse. For this style of accommodation, they offer clean, comfy, small rooms, a large shared living room space, plus a shared kitchen and a delightfully quiet patio. The setting is just steps from the on town entrance.

Blissful Stay in Split

We spent 4 nights in the smallest room of the available 3; it was ideal for our needs, ensuite bathroom and with Godsent AC. Ines was very accommodating; we got beach towels and all answers quickly answered! We were received by her mom who was very helpful and lovely, and gave us a map of Split and recommended us few places.
It was super neat and clean, and most importantly in the heart of the old town, only few minutes walk away from the palace! There is a market next to the house, kiosks and for vegans, a nice little vegan place /especially good for breakfast/. In 20 minutes you get to the Marjan nature Park and it’s beaches; or a 20 min walk to the bevice !
In the guesthouse, the view for an evening chill is green and beautiful, there’s an outside table to wind down with a glass of wine from the market or a late night snack. There’s a living room and fully equipped kitchen to prepare food if you’re on a budget.
Next time in Split, would definitely rent here again!

Fantastic place, Amazing location and Insanely good for value!

I loved this place you feel like you are at home,very warm welcome from Ines and also her mother is really sweet.Rooms are clean with washing machine and fridge but you also have all amenities downstairs private rooms with locks and right in the old town it's a must when in split.

Amazing

Exceptionally clean with cooking and laundry facilities. Air condition and T.V. in every bedroom. Supermarket and Pizza place just round the corner
  Ines and her Mother are wonderful hosts.
 We would loved to have stayed for a few days more but sadly we only planned to stay 3 days in Split.

Fantastic Guesthouse in quiet loctation but only a few minutes walk to centre of Split

I couldn’t have been happier to stay here for 4 days whilst travelling around Croatia and the Islands. Easy walking distance of everything I needed and the host, the mom, was really helpful and sociable. She advised me where to visit and even bought me a good wine for my birthday. She had noticed the date in my passport, so a really nice thought. I stayed in the double room with a balcony which was perfect, away from the busy streets down a short narrow path. A quiet haven in an otherwise busy holiday resort. I will be recommending Guesthouse Fjaka to my friends.

Perfect location, perfect host

This was my favorite accommodation during my trip to Croatia, so I was kinda bummed that I was only there for one night. Ines gave us really detailed instructions so the place was easy to find--close to a big promenade but sort of tucked away in a residential neighborhood. I had the room with a balcony which was lovely. My friend was staying for a few days so she rented the top floor apartment which was really spacious. There was a nice breeze in my room so I didn't have to run the A/C, even had a washing machine in the bathroom. Ines was out of town when we arrived and there was a little mix up on arrival time but once we called Ines, her mom showed up in a few minutes to let us in, very apologetic. I was leaving the next day to a hotel close to the airport and was confused about how to get there. Ines's mom called the hotel to find out which bus I needed to take and then called the bus station to find out when the bus departures were--super nice. The common living room was really big and there's a fully equipped kitchen which you can use. 
Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Split

Ines (the hostess) and her Mom are so kind and were always ready to help us with anything at all during our stay. The location is perfect, you can quickly and easily walk to all the main city sights. The room was comfortable and cool, and the balcony was so nice. It was also nice we could us their bicycles if we wanted, and Ines was available via Whatsapp or in person to answer any and all questions we had. They let us use their kitchen and laundry supplies too!

The shower was leaking quite heavily during our stay, but we informed the family and I'm sure they'll take care of it. A mirror in the main room would have been nice too. Other than that, it was perfect!! I would definitely recommend this place :)
