We stayed 3 nights at this lovely BnB. The accommodation was in the old town and on the 3rd floor of a lovely single fronted three level building.
Our accommodation was clean, modern and spacious with a generous breakfast provided. We also had access to undercover car parking a few streets away for a very good rate.
We would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Brugge. 


Lovely B n B accommodation in Brugge

Not easy to find as it is just a door in the street, not as we thought its more an apartment not a b/b and its a go it alone, no one else was in the building and we were  on the top floor attic room. stairs are very steep 6 sets to the room so not for the less fit. did not see any smoke alarms so very scary, breakfast is left outside for you and is continental which was fine and plenty especially  if you like bread rolls & pastry, the place is currently been modified so a lot of noise in the morning once you are awake. loved the bathroom although shower not strong enough, room was tidy & clean but not homely, tv too far from bed to watch properly, bed large but not comfy, you can here every sound from below, plenty of hanging space and view is of other roofs not over the square as we thought so be warned. would not stop here again  but lady was nice and polite pay a bit more and get a proper b/b or hotel , Notre Damme B/B / hotel. would be our recommendation. description of this b/b is not accurate 

NOT A B/B BUT A DIY APARTMENT - ATTIC ROOM NO FIRE ALARMS ??? Views of other roofs.

We had quite a bit of trouble finding the hotel--directions we had received were unclear that we needed to park in the lot down the street first and then come to the hotel.  And after calling the owner for help, we still had a hard time seeing the VERY small sign on the building identifying the hotel.  We were given the code to unlock the main door and our hotel key was in our room so we did not meet the owner until check out the next day.   

Our attic room offered amazing views of the city in two directions, was bright and airy, with a couch, coffee service and a nice big bathroom.  As others have shared, there are a lot of steep stairs to reach the top floor--even more challenging with your luggage.  No elevator, so don't attempt if stairs are an issue for you.   We knew breakfast was to be delivered in the morning but had no idea when that would be since no one was there at check in, which made our tour-planning a little more difficult.   But once it arrived, it was plentiful--fresh pastries, juice and coffee--more than enough for the two of us.

We especially liked the close proximity to the main square and being within walking distance to anything in the old quarter.  But being so close to the center of the old town meant a lot of noise as well--late night conversations, music and laughter that weren't so loud themselves but carried quite clearly through our open windows.  And the garbage collector early the next morning dragging glass bottles across the cobblestone street below made quite a racket!  None of these can be blamed on the hotel--but they come with the territory, so be forewarned. 

If we had had clearer communication with the owner on several issues, it would have made our stay less frustrating, but the location and room were wonderful.  Bruges was one of our favorite cities and this hotel had us right in the heart of it!

Wonderful location and attic room; frustrating communication

Myself and my wife stayed in the bleu house for 3 nights and we found it perfect for our needs.It is extremely central (2 min off the market square) with a lot of restaurants and bars within minutes from the front door.The apartment itself is nice and bright and the shower is a wonderful bonus.The breakfast provided is a lovely continental breakfast dropped right to your door and they are very accomadating if you ask them to leave it earlier.On a final note yes the stairs are steep but you are staying in a medival town and our ancestors unless minted built their buildings with narrow stairs and not grand staircases.

Perfect location

Blue house is in a great location only 1 minute walk from the Grote Markt so close to everything and easy to drop back to to get a coat, suncream, drop a bag off... Breakfast is left outside room in morning. Nice selection but would be better if you could choose what you would like off a list. Was also too much bread for us but that may be good for others. Nice to be  able to open the windows and watch or listen to the buzz of the street outside during the day..or the bells from the Belfort (the belfry in the main square). Would happily stay here again. 

Great Location and bright room

The accommodation is very well placed being just two minutes from the main square. The reserved parking is a block away but very secure in an underground private car park. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of breads, pastries and accompaniments. However the room is basic and the two flights of stairs to access the room are very steep and a real challenge with luggage. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room would certainly benefit from tea and coffee making facilities and for the price we paid there are better options to be found in Bruges.
