i stayed here for two nights,from 10 September to 12 September. that time i had my central vietnam trip,Da Nang is the last stop.the room i stayed can see Han river,but if you want to see the famous golden dragon bridge,you have to stand close to the window,then you can see it, but the tail of the dragon is blocked by buildings. i read comments before booking, i think they have two Han river room, one with balcony, i think that one located on the sixth floor, cuz mine is on the seventh floor,and no balcony.though i requested room with balcony after booking,they don’t provide it for me.i suggest the hotel should separate these two rooms,let people choose which room they want to stay. anyway, i live the room i stayed,it is big and cozy, the hotel will provide two free bottles of mineral water. it has a fridge, a TV, a seating area. i love the fridge, i can keep my drinks bought outside into it. TV only youtube, no local channels. bathroom ok, the hotel provides toiletries. only one thing not satisfied is they don’t have breakfast. but you can have it around the hotel,there are many restaurants nearby. the location is great, just opposite Han river, pink church and Han market both are not far from it, you also can walk to the dragon bridge, very convenient. though it located at a busy area, it is quiet in the room unless you open the window. considering the good location and the wonderful view, i will give Hoang Linh five stars, highly recommended!

Han river view

We booked a room for 1 night using Avíos points- the cash price was about $15. The hotel is situated on the main road alongside the river, with lots of coffee shops and local restaurants and a few bars within a 10 minute walk. Our room was on the 8th floor (though strangely the lift only went to floor 7!). The room was large with a king sized bed, firm mattress, good a/c, big TV, fridge etc. Nice big bathroom and large walk-in shower. We had a ‘city view’ so rooftops of neighbouring buildings rather than the river. The room was clean but the carpet in the corridor was slightly soiled. We slept ok though could hear some pounding bass from a nearby club (wed night- weekend could be worse?). The staff seemed to speak no English and one disappointing factor was a lack of secure room to store bags after check out. The girl on reception told us to leave them by the counter. As we’d seen reception unstaffed a couple of times, this made us nervous but she said she’d be there while we went out for an hour. Not surprisingly when we came back, reception was empty and anyone could have accessed our bags and others left in reception. The hotel really needs to address this point. Apart from that we were happy with the room for the amount paid.

Large room, Good location, fair price

Beautiful hotel with very very big room. Bed is very comfortable and great to sleep. Staff was very friendly, smiling and helpful. Hotel itself and rooms were very clean. Location is perfect, next to dragon bridge with just a short walk. Easy to go around find food or drinks. Recommend anyone who want to be in a convenint place with good price.

Perfect location, big rooms

Had booked the river view rooms for 2 nights . I think there are only two such rooms in the hotel which is tragic given that the property is optimally located right on the riverside. Great views from the room.
They dont have their own kitchen however the staff was helpful to offer to order food delivery from any nearby restaurant. Also cutlery etc. are available if needed.
Overall clean rooms. We did not spend much time in Dannag during our stay at this hotel as we were travelling to phong nha caves, bana hills etc. but an overall good experience.

2 days stay in river view room

The room was clean but the bed was pretty uncomfortable and hard. My shower drain also didn't drain properly so I had to cut my shower short before all the water went everywhere. I had to check out early in the morning to catch a flight and wanted to tell the receptionist about the drain then, but he kept refusing to wake up from the couch he was sleeping on so I just left (I paid for the room when I booked it so that at least worked out).

Mediocre hotel room

The staff were very friendly and allowed us to leave our bags there before our designated check in time- unfortunately there were a few problems with our room-our shower shot out at a 90 degree angle therefore meaning to wash you had to hold it. Furthermore, our room had windows to the stairs outside that at night, light spilled in meaning it was a poor nights sleep. Finally our WiFi didn’t work for 80% of our stay and when we reported the problem we were only told to use another floors WiFi which was also down. Overall was a good location and was ok for budget travelling.

Mediocre

As the title says, I didn't feel like I got the greatest deal possible on the room,  BUT, overall, as a centrally-located home base, with friendly, helpful staff to answer the many questions that I had, it was a satisfactory stay, all things considered.  Make sure to visit the Han market, basically one block away.  The room: not bad, but the gripes were: silly that there was no lighting/switch within reach of the bed; "king" bed was actually 2 mattresses zipped together sideways, and you sometimes caught that zipper, kneeling, or with your pelvis when side-sleeping; noisy bathroom vent fan; no safe; "pulsing" water pressure, but I was on the top floor.

Not absolutely the best room quality or value, but very friendly staff and very well located

The hotel is very central, directly on the waterfront and not far from the old market. The hotel does not offer breakfast. In the hotel you can rent a moped (6USD/24h), which you can park overnight in your own guarded moped garage. Our room 601 was very large, offered a larger terrace, a double bed, a single bed, refrigerator, seating facilities. Somewhere in the bed area there seems to be a mold damage, which was recently overhauled. There was a smell of extreme smoke on the head, but there was nothing to see for it.

It is impersonal, medium-sized, centrally located and has a good view of the river.

Partner and I were budget traveling so ended up with the last available room of 2 twin beds with no windows. They were like a box spring with a sheet over it, hard as a board. No free breakfast included though it was advertised somewhere on the site. Roach crawled out of the shower drain, and that was our sign to skip to the hotel across the street - paid $30 for a penthouse room and a plush bed. The staff was so friendly and helpful, location was immediately off the lake, and close to various cafes and bars. However, that cannot overshadow the rest of the bad experience. 

Nice staff, but horrible room!

Maybe I was staying at a different hotel because I see a lot of negative reviews about this one which I don't understand. Our experience was nothing but good. Perhaps because we spent a few extra dollars on a river view room, we had a spacious room with a stunning view of the Han river. A good clean modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. Strong wifi signal. The location was convenient to the city center and the Han market (but don't waste your time there). Across the street was a walking promenade along the river.
I will warn you that the beds are very firm. It wasn't a problem for me but my partner woke up kind of creaky.
Overall for the price we had a large, clean, comfortable room which was hard to beat.
