Hof am Platzli is an wonderful B&B run by an amazing hostess Angela and her family in quiet St Jacob close to St Anton. Spotless clean spacious rooms, good beds, excellent ensuite, Sat TV, Ski room, lots of lovely touches (eg complementary Ski storage in St Anton, towels for swimming pool) and outstanding breakfasts with lots fresh fruit, cereals, local & regional cheese & meats, eggs, range of bread/rolls/croissants etc etc. Bus stop (free buses) is 1 min away to slopes and town centre.

Fantastic B&B skiing base

Super cozy accommodation with excellent breakfast; the extremely nice host Angela reads every wish from your eyes. I think she has closed us in her heart. Nice rooms, ski bus just around the corner.

Excellent retirement for breakfast

Gorgeous views of snow covered valley from our bright and airy ensuite room. Comfortable beds, great nights sleep every night and even English speaking channels on our TV. Excellent Wifi. Breakfast is amazing with wide range of fresh fruit, yogurts, meats, cereals, cheeses, fresh baked breads, boiled/scrambled eggs.  Angela is the perfect hostess and made us feel so welcome and at home. Hof am Platzli is about 10mins by skibus from centre of StAnton.

The rooms are comfortable and super clean. Breakfast is perfect.
And the quiet location opposite the ski bus is superb!

My favourite in Sankt Anton am Arlberg

This is an excellent place to stay and Angela the host could not be more friendly and helpful.   The breakfast would not be out of place in a 4 or 5 star hotel. My room was spacious and had a very clean and good quality shower room, balcony and satellite TV.

The property is a little distant from the nearest lift but the bus service really is excellent.  The bus stop is less than 50m from the front door and runs every 15 minutes like clockwork until around 7pm.  After that there is a night bus every hour or a Taxi will cost €19 after about 8pm

The location is very peaceful with views to the south over the valley and there is parking and ski storage onsite, although Angela also provided ski storage passes at the ski lift for the duration of our stay, which avoided walking in ski boots.

We were very happy and will certainly be going back.

5 Star accommodation at 2 star prices

Hof am Platzli is a classic Tirolian building, in a quiet neighborhood just a short bus ride from St Anton.  As others have mentioned, the host Angela is over-the-top friendly, and full of good advice on the area.  i can't imagine a more restful and accommodating place in the St Anton area.

VERY gracious host, beautiful hotel

This was our second time staying with Angela and her family. Hof am Platzli is in a quiet area within easy reach of St Anton slopes by (free) ski bus. Bus stop just around the corner. En suite rooms are very comfortable with a balcony, sat TV, plenty of storage space. Large downstairs ski room. Angela's breakfasts are wonderful and included loads of fresh fruit, local cheeses and meats . We never turned down Angela's offer of fresh eggs either! 
As we arrived by train we were delighted to accept Angela very find offer to collect us from the station. She made us feel really at home. There is a fun bar/restaurant about 5 minutes walk up the hill - good food & sometimes live music. We'll be back again!
