What a warm welcome when we got there. A great base for our walking. The room was very cosy small but had everything a nice  bathroom with a great shower. Tea and coffee and the use if required of the kitchen downstairs. The bed was super comfy and lovely bedding. It’s in a great location for a wander around the village at night. Looked onto the garden area. And after all that walking you can watch telly in bed perfect. And also a hairdryer in the room and umbrellas you can borrow at the front door. We will most definitely stay again. And a huge thank-you to you  we left a phone charger in the room the cleaner kindly rang us up and it was posted to us now wasn’t that good of them. Park on the big car park get the long stay ticket works out cheaper. 

Brilliant weekend 

Beautiful cottage which is in an excellent position for the village and lake. Lovely large room with large balcony which was brilliant for our little dog and for us to enjoy sitting out in the evening. Everything was perfect and we had everything and more we could want. We will definitely be going back many times 

Excellent guest house

This is our second vist as a family we absolutely love it. Clean, confortable and excellent value for money.
We had all the top floor this time. Nico and Jan are always on hand to help, nothing is too much truble. We always make good use of the shared kitchen. 
We will definitely be back again before the end of the year.

Another successful stay at Holly Cottage

Terrible place stair carpets filthy room very small kept banging my head on the beam above the bed we stayed 4 nights at £85 a night they never came in the room to top coffe and stuff up, only a couple of sachets of coffee and 2 milk for 4 days.had to park on main car park another £38 our room looked out to a tip of a garden won't be visiting again. 

Terrible

Lovely guest house right in the centre of Bowness. Room was lovely with a large private terrace. Lots of nice touches in the room such as tea and coffee, large bottle of water, biscuits and also access to the kitchen where fresh milk was available. Will definitely be returning. 

Lovely guest house

Lovely place. The owner and her daughter were really lovely and gave us so many ideas of what we could do around the area. Super lovely people could not fault them atall. They made the stay worthwhile.

Lovely

The room was really nice and very clean, bed comfortable. Only downside was that you could hear every one walking around and floors creaking. The garden areas front and back need some attention it's a shame we overlooked the back garden on the patio and it was in such a mess. However host was lovely and the complimentary drinks and mini fridge were good.

Great location room lovely and clean. You have use of a very well equipped large kitchen jan the owner was brilliant would reccomend to everybody and have already booked to stay again! Location couldnt be more central

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Location was perfect and the rooms were spotless, very comfortable and with thoughtful touches to meet all our needs, including real coffee in the bedrooms! The host Jan was on hand, and we were able to book in early. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to return.

Perfect place to stay!

Very friendly greeting from Jan & Nico, lovely room, clean and cosy & a great plus take pets. Our room had a balcony which suited our neefs witha small dog. Kettle with teapot, tea bags, loose tea, coffe, milk and sugar. There's a small fridge for extra milk. .
