Basic, clean, and functional. AC worked, nice balcony, no lift so consider that if you have heavy bags. Very friendly staff. Shower was a bit dated, great location in the Gothic quarter. Close to many great Tapas bars. 

Just what we needed for 1 night

Great value. Amazing location, about 100 from La Rambla. Can be tricky to find, but look for the flags, hanging from the first balcony. Very secure and clean. Friendly welcoming staff. I stayed in 102, could be noisy but just close the window! Has AC. Would stay again. 

Great value!

Highest pressure shower we have had on our trip to Europe. Lovely staff. However, we have had small rooms throughout our budget 10 country visit but this one does not even have space for a spare chair. I guess we are a bit disappointed as the picture of the double room on the web page had an image of a balcony.  It is just so small. Great location but would have preferred to be 500m further away and had a fraction more space.


Good location comes with drawbacks

The location of the hostel was great, and the staff were lovely. The bedding was also clean and tidy. 
The bathroom smelt so bad, and there was certainly a drainage problem in the hostel. 
Bit damn in our room, but others in the same party didn’t have this issue. 
Very small rooms but fine for a hostel.

Great location

I stayed here for 5 days with my husband and as hostel we didn't expect much but it was really good. Location is amazing, staff are super nice and helpful and overall it was very good experience. The only downfall is size of bed and size of shower. We had double size bed but really felt like single, so I ended sleeping on the floor so my husband can get good sleep. Other then that the stay was fine. Wouldn't go back due to size but as Barcelona was our ''budget'' trip this served it purpose perfectly

Very good budget place

Great location in the centre of Barcelona. One end is La Rambles the other The market.
The room was clean and good for a hostel. No safe in room just very basic and what you would expect from a hostel.  No lift we had a two floors to go up to. Very noisy at night not from the guests but our room looked out into an enclosed area which I assume were peoples homes. The a/c wouldn’t work so it was very warm.., The shower was fabulous. Great hairdryer and body wash. We only stayed one night. This hostel is definitely good value for money.

Great Location!

The hostel is right in the centre of the city. It was very clean ans the staff was friendly. The rooms are small, but they’ve got a terrace. We asked for additional hairdrier and iron and they reacted so fast! Definitely recommend it!

Trip with friends

3 lads went to Barca for a weekend away to watch the football and this was the perfect place to stay 3 bedroom room with a private bathroom very clean fresh towels every day and plenty of places to eat near by the only downside which is no fault of the establishment is coming back every night getting hassled by the bar on the corner and their associate's

Clean and a good size 

I personally enjoyed my stay, clean room, friendly staff, really closed to everything. Indeed a bit noisy, walls very thin, but for the paid price was a good deal. I woul definitelly recommend. The cleaning service available every day, clean towels.

Good place for couple of days

Great little place a 5 minute walk from Catalunya Aerobus stop. I arrived late but was given a code for access and key to my room was on the desk at reception.
Rooms are basic but clean and en-suite shower was piping hot in the morning.
Close to all the sights and they even let you leave your luggage at reception after you check out to pick up later.
All in all I would certainly have no hesitation in booking here again when visiting Barcelona.
