If your plan is to spend a couple of days in Santander and reserve a central room, where you can simply rest, an option more than valuable because of its location (300m from the town hall square and 10m from the bus station) and price.

We are a family of 5 traveling, we have stayed in two rooms, the rooms are fine, modern and well maintained, the size is logical as it is a boarding house, but they are fine, the reception is in the hallway, but there is an elevator and access for people with reduced mobility, cleanliness and good treatment, excellent location.

Recommended accommodation

It is very well located. in the center, 300 meters from the town hall. all right cleaning, reception.... the room had two plugs, both in the bathroom.... wifi, tv.... quality price good. very close to the bus station.

Centrica and Barata.

When we booked, when we read the good reviews it had, we thought it would be better than it was. when we arrived we realized that the place was horrible. to get in we were calling the doorbell a little bit and when we were opened, the receptionist appeared wrapped up and with wet hands as if he was cleaning or fixing something. when we finally entered the room we did not know whether to laugh or cry. it was very cold because the heater was off and they told us that they would turn it on in the afternoon. and if that was added to the lack of cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, it made us leave immediately.

Experience is not very gratifying.

The central boarding house, very normal, small but with all the clean services and has wifi, TV, very friendly owners very good care, is located near the parking station and Alfonso XIII.

Centric.

A boarding house located in a building in front of the bus station on the first floor and has 11 rooms. In the room NO ENCHUFE, NO WIFI Every guest must call every time he enters, therefore you are listening all night long to the timbre. As long as there is a reception 24 hours a day, I don't understand how they don't put a warning by light sign every time they call or hand over the key to the portal with a pledge.

Stamp on the door.

It's very clean, and it sleeps well, although we were charged twice as much due to a mistake in the reservation, the receptionist noticed but didn't warn us in time, if not at our time of departure, the location is good, but be careful with the reservations.

A night in the pension plaza.

The facilities were clean and the bed was comfortable, highly recommended if you visit Santander for a few days, both as a couple and as a family, and if you return to the city you would consider it.

Good location in a very good location.

This seems to be an apartment converted to small rooms, and the machine-assisted plumbing is very noisy - other guests would likely have awoken me, if I hadn't slept with earplugs. No wifi password displayed at reception nor anywhere in the room, but I didn't realise this till I'd already undressed and didn't feel like changing to go back out and ask for it. What bothered me most was, even though I arrived precisely when I said I would and the reservation website had said "no prepayment required" the receptionist had already charged my credit card before I arrived. I use a personal card to guarantee my bookings but travel on business so this just means added paperwork/credit card debt when I had intended to pay cash. They shouldn't do this when a client is still within the expected arrival time. 

Little good except the location

We booked with Booking for two adults and a four-year-old boy for two nights to visit Santander, then on our way to Asturia.Legamos y el concierge gives us a small room of two individual beds of 80 and the kid says that better two than one of 1.30m without any interest in solving the problem.That's our advice on free parking...we had to cancel and find another accommodation for two adults and a kid...
