Perfect location and cleanliness. A bright patio with birds singing in the morning if you touch that room. So demas is an antique hostel, lack of maintenance, huge cracks, old mattresses, plug that doesn't fit, lack of lights in the bathroom. The dryer asks you to give it as well as the board.

They refused to accept my card even though I had booked for a month. Two days after leaving they cancelled my booking and I had to look for another room (obviously at a higher price).

Positive experience. No problem with the staff, normal room with well-equipped bathroom. The comfortable beds. The building does not have an elevator. While you can walk to train and metro stations such as Sol o Atocha, these are not at the entrance to the hostel. On the other hand, being in the letters district, there are countless places to eat in the area.

Perfect for a mini-holiday in Madrid.

I summarized my experience in good things and bad things: Bad things - The lack of kindness of the staff - The curtain in my room didn't work and we had to sleep with outside light coming in even at night, because the light from the lanterns was blocked. We were told that we could use the wooden curtain but that wasn't a curtain, it was a counterclockwise with lames whose separation between lames was about 5cm. - The bed of a bamboo and the giraffes sounded a loud noise. - In the bathroom mirror of one of the rooms we had to sleep. - The only lames and the bombs were fused. - In the bathroom the walls were about to fall and the routes of the room were about to fall apart.

The hostel of horror.

Central Hostel, just 8 minutes from Sol. Very clean, warm, comfortable bed. Spacious rooms with bathroom, towels, TV, spacious closet, heating and safe. Good quality-location-price ratio. It has free Wi-Fi.

Very good location.

The location is perfect, all the attractions are on foot, it's a simple hostel, on the second floor without an elevator, car service and you can hear what's going on around, but I think it happens in most of the accommodations in Madrid, so economically and locally I could stay here again.
