A suitable hotel. However, there are few bathrooms per level (only 2) which is not practical, especially since toilets are included in these bathrooms... which is sometimes worth an unpleasant wait. Otherwise the room was correct for the price paid. However, the noise of some occupants was very disturbing during the night (badly insulated rooms).

Suitable

Go there. The staircase of the cathedral or a dinner at the foot of Independence Square or a selfie at one of the bridges over the river, over time you will lose details that bother you not to remember them. Well, you are lucky that the hostel Alhambra will leave you with an indelible memory. Starting with the lady who runs the place, with her camper's hand and her keys, you will quickly notice that it is not a business to use. Observe the instructions and don't miss many questions or arrive late for dinner. When you head to the rooms from the street you will have a keyboard: press the room number and you can use the exit date if all this proves that it doesn't work with the key you gave you. If you open the room 113, you will have the second floor.

Unforgettable 

The bathroom, which had only one per plant, was always wet, there was no toilet paper, no toilet paper, no shower curtain, the bathroom had very suspicious stains, the water temperature could not be regulated and the toilet was in the same bathroom, there was no lid and it was also dirty. The door to the room was locked all the time, so whenever someone left the room everyone was sitting alone, the colchones were soft and very desperate, the blankets and the blankets were very thin and very cold. The pillows were ridiculous, the pillows and the pillows were soft and the pillows were a double-sided double-sided.

Worse than the Adams family's house.

The first time I stayed in Gerona I stayed at Pension Borras-nice enough but having no window is depressing.  Hostal Alhambra is only slightly more expensive and advertises a window.  I was in a rush to get to an appointment so I just paid without seeing the room.  Massive disappointment!  My window looked into another room with the water tank and old mattresses.  I do have to mention some positives.  I like to walk around barefoot.  The floor was incredibly clean.  The woman at the desk has a massive personality and very helpful but no English.  She allowed me to store my luggage and bike for free.  Because my room was such a dump I decided I was just going to get drunk as I was leaving the next morning.  There are a few local bars and I met some people and had a great time.

Ask to see the room before you pay!!!

El hostel Alhambra is a very fair hostel, although for what you pay you cannot claim a four star. quadruple room, shared bathroom between each floor, exterior room and old beds.

Hostalillo is a hostel.

El Hostel Alhambra is a simple, economical and close to the center of Girona (about a 15 minute walk in peace).I found everything clean, in place and that yes, the bathroom is shared with the rest of the rooms.It is the ideal place for short stays or tours in the city of Girona, without discounting much.

We went to this hostel because we were only going to spend one night in Girona and it was the cheapest option: 40€ a night in a double room. First of all, the neighborhood where it is located is a bit turbulent, but the good thing about it is that the old town is about 20 minutes' walk away. The hostel (more than a hostel is a boarding house), was dirty, very old. We couldn't keep an eye on the whole night because the walls are paper and every step or whisper that goes there sounds like a noise.

From theft! booked on 99€ with additional taxes to reach 103€!!! For this price a light room. Matela foams from another century (not even a slide between mites and the worn out cloth of time. Noisy, common shower on a level that includes the toilets. (2 for 15 rooms) T-shirts of indefinite color between yellow and gray. Impossible to park.
