came here on a stag weekend, looked at previous reviews prior to going and was slightly worried so and had a couple of places on standby just in case. arrived and was pleasantly surprised.
clean rooms, clean bedding, shared kitchen and shared bathrooms all good (except locks on toilet door broke) but as we were all male on our floor, it wasn't a problem. Friendly and helpful staff. a couple of bars and restaurants in walking distance. TESCO'S of all shops about 50 metres away. Hostel about £10 away form centre of Prague in an Uber Taxi - locals taxi's about £30-£60 depending, so defo use Uber
i would stay again if doing a budget stay in Prague again

cheap and cheerful

I've never tried a hostel, and it's going to be the last one. It's in the porch and having booked a private room with bathroom, it wasn't the best. Room x the rest, bathroom without anything 80s style. Shower with cold water and after repeated warnings it arrived. The rooms don't do them, and neither do the cleaning. Private rooms are on the fourth floor, without elevator, so on foot. Strange experience.

I think we made a mistake on the web and uploaded photos from somewhere else, because it wasn't from this era.We endured one night, the smell of piss in the rooms and broken glass.Dirty sheets, dusty mattresses, and an unpleasant staff, the guy got aggressive by asking for the complaint sheet (which he said was not going to give us).

By the way, please don't worry.

I am currently staying here and will check out tomorrow. The Wifi doesn't connect inside the room. I even posted this review sitting in the staircase. The people at the reception are not helpful and are actually kind off rude. A guy from the reception, on my multiple complaints, came with me to the room to check the problem and at the end said we can't do anything ! I said on the internet it shows you have rooms available but they said you have to pay more ! Your wifi doesn't connect, that's not my mistake !

The hostel is pretty basic, but if that adds up to a really nasty staff, the balance isn't positive. The treatment was very hostile, besides that they didn't organize among the members. On the day of departure, my friend went up to see if we had left something in the room and the cleaner echoed it screaming in Czech. Finally, the kitchen is really incomplete and there were barely any kitchen utensils (no cafeteria, no toaster, no corkscrew, no collator...).

We stayed in the hostel Alia for three nights, but it was not good choice because our room located in the fourth floor did not have air-conditioning not even proper windows to open. One of two was broken, and so it was incredibly hot inside. Not good service at all.

"Sauna" room

Hostel depicted in photographs in a totally different way... naked rooms, feeling of dirt everywhere, broken beds and inadequate covers... the whole structure seems to go back to a barracks of 50 years ago.

The hostel is exhausted.

I visited the Alia Hostel or as we called it, Little Hilton Prague in May 2018. The rooms are equipped with the latest technology, the cleanliness and sanitation state is top of the city! Even the next morning, when I went to the beautiful Italian marble, flushed bathroom, I couldn't get out of the smile.

Have a wonderful weekend

There is a small towel for 1 person in the room. There is a common kitchen. You can walk to the center. There are small park areas nearby, as well as Tesco and local bars. Be sure to bring armor plates with you, as the number can be confused at the registration.

It's close, cheap, clean.

We spent two nights in this bakery! We lived in a room with yellow walls, the walls started splashing, old furniture, holes in sheets! We left small food on the road in the common fridge - half of the food we bought at night was gone! The common shower is just horrible, dirty, stinking, everywhere mushrooms and dirty coats! The keys to the room have to be given to the prescription, which embarrasses me personally! They took the surcharge out of the bill for no reason. Fans at the prescription didn't give it - they said it was broken. I don't advise anyone!
