This used to be our favorite hotel in Sinaia. We came here since 2015 and it was beautiful. Indeed, this used to be the most chic accommodation in Sinaia, but not anymore. We we back after approximately 3 years and were very disappointed. Generally speaking, it is obvious that it would be the right time for repairments, repainting, etc., but they didn't do anything on this. The couch in the room had a big stain, the bathrobes for the hammam looked extremely used (probably they are the same since the opening of the hotel). There was no internet on our floor - we needed it for internet speed for watching Netflix on out laptop, but we ended using our mobile hotspot. When we told the reception that there is a problem they said that until Monday they cannot fix it. The TV's are old and small, they are overpassed as they don't support USB's or external units, so you can't even watch a movie. Most probably, they try to save money and maximize the income, but they do this with little things that are obvious and matter. For example, they cut all the good tea and they use the most cheap and worst tea - Fares and Belin. More, they don't even have popular tea like English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Green Tea or Fruit Tea. They have cheap tea like "Tei", "Sunatoare", "Musetel", that people usually drink it if they are sick. For the breakfast they kept the Julius Meinhl boxes and put this cheap tea in it. Breakfast is very poor, compared to what it used to be. More, my husband was asked for three times for the room number (which is disturbing, as one might think that they treat you like outsiders). No old staff was there anymore (and in the past they used to be the same) - this is another sign that they were not happy anymore with the current situation in the hotel. The coffee and tea in the room were also a no-name brand (the coffee) and horrible, and the tea Fares... The overall impression was that it used to be rich and now it is cheap, living from the past "fame", but for the same price. Very sorry for them, it is another business that used to be flourishing and destroyed by the greed of the owner. They want more, but with cheap products. We surely will not be back.

Very disappointed

The bed sheet with several stains, some very large, scattered over half the bed; we had to squeeze two adults only on the other half of the bed. Rusty soap dish, extremely small bathroom. The doors to the balconies are not hinged, and due to the fact that the neighbours can easily pass from one balcony to another, you cannot leave any door open (there is no window) when you leave the room, and you cannot feel safe at night either. There is no kettle/pan to heat some milk. Dirty espresso machine with the capsule in it. Deliberately disconnect the stoves, so as not to let you cook in the room!! And we paid 625 lei/night and it's not worth it!! We should not ask them to connect the stove, at our expense. There should be price offers without breakfast included. We did not serve breakfast, but we paid for it. I wanted to wash my hands in the downstairs toilet. I was left with soap on my hands and I had to call the receptionist to turn on the water. We do NOT deserve such treatment! You are losing tourists!

Desapointing

I stayed in this hotel for one night (Dec 30th). Good things: the food and the size of the apartment. Things they have to improve ASAP: room 301 (where I stayed) has a bad smell of cigarette smoke. Avoid that room! When I went to talk at the front desk I was told that all the other apartments were occupied and they sent the room service ladies to "fix" the issue. After a while I found the door open to the wall (outside it was 3 degrees) and a pot of vinegar to neutralize the smell of cigarettes. 
If it is not clear to them what they suppose to do at that moment: to offer a discount for the terrible discomfort created or something around this idea.
Also, in the bathroom, I found a long hair hanging on the edge of the bathtub (left by former tourists). Then, there are speakers on the halls with music (?!) until around 11 p.m. If I would have wanted music, I would have listen it in my room or I would have go to the club!

First of all, I have to state that the personnel working here is great, from the lady in charge with the reservation to the cleaning clerks, everybody was o very good professional.
Second, all the rooms are junior suites and apartments, very large, suitable for a holiday with kids. The rooms have large balconies , with furnitures. The  sleeping room and the living room are well designed, with TVs. There is also a clean and large bathroom and a small open kitchen, fully operational. Big refrigerator and all kind of plates and glasses also are available. 
The breakfast is ok, but without live stations (you can order extra if you want something particular) and the dinner is tasty, inclusive for kids.
The environment is quiet and nice, 25 minutes by foot to the downtown.
The negative part is the price, too much i thing for what it offers.A cut off by 20% would be the fair price.

A good hotel in Sinaia

Excellent breakfast, one of the best I ever had, congratulations!
Very friendly staff, nice quiet rooms and a very good restaurant (we had a dinner there). I would say a really good hotel choice, even if a bit pricey.
We had a room with a bedroom and a living area, a nice bathroom and a wine bottle waiting for us.
The hotel has a hammam (not a sauna, so this needs to be corrected in their presentation) and next to it a mini-pool with jacuzzi.
The only not so good point was the music in the restaurant, otherwise all was very nice :)

Good comfortable choice

Very good location,  clean and comfortable beds,  very good food, breakfast was delicios, all the staff was kind and helpful, the reservation system at the hotel spa means 1 hour only for 1 room, în order to have full intimacy and remax, a very nice surprize.

Excellent stay

Wow! I was blown away with the amount of space in our suite. The living room and kitchenette were separated from the bedroom and bathroom. Couch was comfy to sit on. Kitchenette had coffee maker, hot water pot, silverware, dishes, burners (no pots in the room but I imagine you could ask for them) and a mini refrigerator. The chairs were more comfortable than I expected. Bed was very comfortable!
They have a jacuzzi that you sign up for a slot of time (45-55 minutes). It was amazing! It’s huge and to have the place to ourselves was very romantic and fun. They also have a sauna but we didn’t use that. 
Breakfast was included and the spread was delicious and a large variety. Eggs were amazing. Lots of variety.  Coffee you ordered at the bar and they brought it to you. 
There was no air conditioning to my knowledge however being in the mountains and having windows/doors to bring in fresh air. It wasn’t a problem for us. 
We hope to return. 

Spacious and beautiful 

It seems to be a good deal. The contact person tells you on the phone all you want to hear: Luxury suite, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, swimming pool, spa... It all turns to be a bit different one you get there. Parking ok. I got an apartment with one bathroom, the guy from the reception "didn't know they had apartments with two". Really? Cute but stupid? The swimming pool was a large bathtub, and I couldn't find the switch to turn the lights on, so we took a bath in the "gloomy dusk". Spa means a sauna, and if you want a massage, you pay extra for it. let's talk about the apartment. Clean. Small kitchen-like amenities in a big room that was also... meant for sleeping. For there were no two bedrooms. Of course. The light in the bathroom could barely help you to find the toilet or the sink. There is, though, a small button on the wall, with no inscription at all. Don't push it. It's the fire alarm. It doesn't make more light. But if there would be a fire, you definitely wouldn't find it. I was also keen to visit the Peles Castle. It's not 600 m away, it's about 3 km! By some mistake, Google got it wrong, and the hotel managers just seem to enjoy people having extra fitness... The good thing was the restaurant. Good breakfast and nice people. They get an extra point for that. The view is nice, but not great. Air is clean and fresh. Bottom line: I wouldn't go there again. Just say a thing and mean it, folks!

Cute but not so bright...

It was a huge surprise for us. I can compare this hotel (services, comfort and restaurant) with a 5 star hotel in famous locations around the world.
We spent 4 days here with our 9 months old twins. Is was perfect. Food, room conditions, staff atitude, SPA...
I forgot to mention that we missed first reservation due to some season sickness. They accept to reschedule it without loosing the upfront payment. 
They have been very kind offering us a St. Nicolae gift at departure.
As a conclusion, we will gladly come back there and we will recommend to any friend of us this location...
And, of course, to TripAdvisor members....🙂 



Definitiom of excellence

I was there with my family about 3 weeks ago and I was mostly happy with this hotel.
It has a lot of pros and few cons.
Pros:
- We reserved the deluxe apartment. It was very big, well maintained, clean, a 5 star apartment. 
- The breakfast was good
- The staff is also very friendly and polite 
- The view is great 

Cons:
- The pictures from their site regarding the wellness area are not reflecting the reality. In fact, it is not a swimpool, as described and as expected, but a big jacuzzi. The sauna is very small, it can accomodate 3-4 persons only. Therefore, you need to make a reservation to go there, which is something very unusual, and you also get only one hour. 
- A little bit overpriced
