I would like to emphasize that in Lourdes I have been to 7 different hotels and that unfortunately the overall quality of the hotels is not the best. Certainly the Cluny is one of the best hotels in terms of food and the availability of hoteliers. Also it has an enviable position. The rooms are rather poor but clean. Obviously you have to think that you are in France and not in Italy and that you have to adapt to French style food that is not as good as Italian. Even if you go to a luxury hotel, where I have been in other parts of France, the food is not like Italy. For those who are in the Cluny can go to the Galleria or the Moderne and certainly the rooms will be better but I have my doubts. I have seen that the Cluny has definitely the position and I hope that it will recover.

Pilgrimage

Nice room, separate toilet and bathroom, small office, closet, bed. Everything was fine. Warm home, varied meals in a family atmosphere. Quiet and downtown. We were able to ask for full information and we always had useful and very clear answers.

Very friendly and always ready to serve us that it is 5:30 in the morning how is it 23 at night er always with a kind word and a thread of conversations eat it and good and copious thank you has all the team for the remote you have to ask her down if we need (for me not need because I was there to accompany the sick during the pilgrimage)

three good stays

As I said in the title, it's 200 metres from the sanctuary, the room, for as long as we're in it, can still go, but when it comes to the restaurant, it's a disaster, and when I say that, I'm very kind, it's just HONTY.

I didn't have breakfast because for 4 it's 20 euros but the situation is perfect.

And it's good that you go to Lourdes for a pilgrimage, to do penance, to humble yourself before the infinite love of God, but if you want to atone for a guilt... and give up decency and cleanliness, as well as comfort and proper nutrition....this hotel is for you! 2 stars are too many, especially for a disabled person or someone with a temporary disability, because stairs, stairs and access to an old elevator certainly do not make staying easier.

Penitential waste

As part of a group pilgrimage for my mother, we booked this hotel without consulting in advance, and chose it for its proximity to the sites and its price... What a bad surprise to discover the unsanitary state of a so-called 2-star hotel (...general cleanliness, old bathroom,...the list would be too long!). Go your way!

What a disappointment!

The central location of this hotel is very convenient as it is very close to the sanctuary plus I must say that the owners were really very kind and polite. It is not a luxury hotel but it seemed to us to be valid even considering the honest price we were asked for...and if we had to go back to LOURDES we would definitely go back to ask if they have free rooms.

Very close to the sanctuary

I stayed in this hotel last week during a pilgrimage in Lourdes. The hotel is outwardly in a state of unpleasantness (crushed and falling walls, balconies full of rust and unsecured, completely bleached). The interior is not at all clean, believe me! Our room had carpets for nothing clean. The bathroom (without bidet and with shower without box) was infested with an unpleasant smell for nothing. The dining room, quietly clean but as soon as you live you always welcome an unpleasant smell for nothing. As for food, I can't. To be discreetly good in France. Maybe breakfast is excessively laughable... but being a two-star shower, you must not claim the buffet.

Dirty hotel

I've been staying here for 12 years, on my annual pilgrimage to Lourdes, the Cluny. I find it a very family-friendly hotel/pension where you eat very well. I think the catchphrases are kindness and availability. They've been there for me both when I've had to breastfeed and then have to follow a particular diet, and then when the baby has started weaning. With people who have to follow a particular diet they're ready to meet them.
