It's horrible.

I stayed there six months ago. The room was 49 euros and the hotel was close to the train station where I chose to stay. I regretted it. Well the hotel is very old but it's not the worst. It makes cigarettes worse, part of the clientele when I seem to be typical residents of former asylum seekers, or newcomers to France... placed by the prefecture... who lack luck was extremely noisy all night long.

What to Avoid

Hotel in the city centre, rated two stars but exceeding expectations, clean, well furnished and in excellent location. It does not offer the free breakfast service but you can add it to the package. Check in with available hours and friendly staff.

Very nice downtown.

Dirty room, I happened to find a spot of pee or vomiting on the wall, mold, the door handle of the broken terrace. There is a lack of hygiene and cleaning already from the stairs to the first floor. The area near the station is avoidable. As soon as I entered the room, I preferred to cancel the reservation (paying the penalty) and move elsewhere.

To be Avoided

I have just spent the night of May 6 at the Hotel de Paris, Montpellier but it is not the extreme old-fashionedness of this that I will remember but the rude and frankly unpleasant attitude of the man at the reception this morning who refused to tell me his name. Following a misunderstanding, the travel agency that made the reservation had not yet settled the night, but had given their bank number and expiration date, which would have allowed the receptionist to find the money. This man was also very unpleasant with the agency's debit card that I called to clarify the situation.

Customer relations to see again!

Small hotel without elevator with a very good location close to the train station and the Place de la Comédie. Several cinemas nearby. Friendly home with key and TV remote control. Standard clean room on the 2nd floor (no.23 with street orientation), with floor tiles and large double bed. Slightly narrow but mostly poorly arranged water room with toilet attached to the wall (no room for knees). Taken with warm water. Classic but proper lunch. Small price report: 57 euros per night (without lunch) with non-refundable option, non-annulable... but MONTPELLIER is a city. A. Recommended for two expensive or medium-sized nights.

Nice and convenient hotel

Plus this hotel has one, close to the train station and the sights. Then only the downsides: - hotel Very dead - two floors without an elevator, the suitcase has to be carried alone on a narrow staircase - the room was very different from what was expected and indicated on the booking - the bed is narrow, I was with a child, so we moved in, not sure that my husband and I would not be able to fit in not only the bed, but also in the room - because of the proximity to the train station and the bustling nightlife of this area the hotel is more like a brothel, unfortunately I didn't hear this in the reviews. All night there were people behind the fireplace and in the neighbouring windows, but you can hear the incredible noise - you can't even leave a coffee in the kitchen with a coffee shop or a coffee in the back of the room with a minimum of 750 guests.

That was really bad.

Already from the outside, when we arrive at the end of the street, we say to ourselves, What is this??? And when you see the room (and you feel it also from elsewhere), it confirms the doubt of the exterior aspect. Room (27) Glaucus, FORT FREATURE ODOR, and of course, the sheets impregnated with the same smell... it is CRA CRA.... Positive points: I have not been disturbed by the noise (the 27 being on the back) and the staff is quite pleasant.

Very disappointing, that's CRADE.

I was stuck in Montpellier during the snow episode, I had to stay 2 days at the Paris Hotel while I live 15 minutes from Montpellier! I wanted to make a happy return from this place but especially the welcoming, kind, available and smiling staff!; the rooms are simple but clean with bathroom and TV. The staff is here to help you and fix you up if necessary. I warmly recommend.
